I have a stuffy nose, major headache & throat hurts. I'm 35 weeks pregnant & doctors office is closed till tomorrow morning what medication can I take that will be safe for me & my baby?

The alternative is guaifenesin, which you can buy over-the-counter. Mucinex contains guaifenesin, but I would get the plain guaifenesin. It works very well.

I did it and got pregnant the first time...I did miscarry but that's due to my age, I think. It has to be the plain kind, just guaifenesin. I also used pre-seed that month. Good luck!

t have guaifenesin in it while is suppose to help thin out your cervical mucus so I saw that I had Mucinex D left over so I was going to try and see if that works this month. I have 5 of them so I will start taking it on the 15 and stop taking it on the 19th. But if anyone has heard of Mucinex D working in helping get pregnant let me know! Thank you for your help.

I am not sure if this works or if this is a coincidence but I have to say the two times I used it I got pregnant. Try taking cough syrup. Just get the pain ole Robitussin with guaifenesin. Don't get it with any other active ingredients. The guaifenesin is the ingredient to loosen mucus. We generally use it for chest congerstion but it also loosens our lower region's mucus wich in turn help aid the sperm to its final goal...your egg.

Due to dryness I feel so much pain during sex. I have sometimes used coconut oil. Is it safe while you are trying to get pregnant? Or is there any other solution for that? Plz help me.

After the cough subside I started to have throat pain again when I wake up then it would proceed to get better during the day and then towards the end of the day it's uncomfortable to say the least . I have fibromyalgia so and am in grad school and working so fatigue is my middle name . I wear a mouth guard and washed real good thinking maybe there was some bacteria on it or something .
