Hello Doctors,
I'm from Sydney, Australia and i need some confirmation. I being quite obsessed with these and i had counselling and i got better until now. Now a week ago i had protected oral sex with a sex worker. Unknown status, didn't notice any blood and the condom didn't break. I have contacted the information line here my country and they believe there is no risk. However, I have a sore throat, my stomach is killing me.
Can this be HIV infection?
Do I need to be tested?

I put oral in quotations because it was a hand job but I did not have any protection on and the girl did kiss my penis about a total of 3-4 times. I am super scared since she made contact with my penis using her mouth. I have been reading that HIV is extremely low but I'm more concerned about the other possible STIs. I got tested as soon as i got back which would have been about a week after the interaction.
So I'm officially into my 6th week and the only issue im having is this ' morning ' sickness. Notice the quotations. I'm nauseous all throughout the day and vomiting. Nothing seems to help and I'm hesitant to call my dr , afraid that I'll get the ' duh ' response. What are some things that can help with this ? Or is consulting with my dr the best thing to do. When material is swallowed it travels to the stomach in literally seconds, propelled by a set of reflexes and involuntary muscle movements.
Well just thinkin they say no risk with oral cause of studies like that but if a person is on medicines for hiv they won't be infectious so if you have oral sex with someone with a hi viral load who doesn't no they are positive how would they no hiv can't be passed on with oral sex

You had brief, condom protected sex and briefer still receipt of unprotected oral sex- neither activity is a risk factor for HIV. You can find comments to the contrary on the internet or on other sites where commentators do not want to take a "chance" in being wrong but the facts are that there is no evidence of HIV being spread through oral sex.
I see no need for testing.
As for your sore throat, I suspect this is coincidence, and nothing more.
Congratulations, hearing that heartbeat for the 1st time is something elese. With my previous preganancy i found out the sex of the baby at around 14 weeks. So they might be able to tell you, the sex.
