Avatar m tn 1. You sex was protected except for what can be best described as brief receipt of masturbation. Masturbation is no risk, even if you partner did have an STD. 2. No danger from touching. In the course of masturbation it is typical for individuals to get secretions on one another. 3. Testing is not required except for your own peace of mind. If you wish to pursue testing, the major infections to test for are gonorrhea, chlamydia and non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU) 4.
329165 tn?1515471990 Hi all, I have a consult with the Surgeon in Adelaide (not the retired Surgeon, but his Associate) next week about getting a date for the Nissen Fund. and I have all my previous scopes and reports and everything ready and a bit anxious about it all when I read on here about people wanting to reverse Nissen Funds and complications and going for 3rd and 4th time!
Avatar f tn After my official diagnosis (see how pessimistic I am!) what questions should I ask? My husband had lung cancer, which metatastised to brain, bone, spine, and liver, and emphysema. He passed away 2 years ago, which has added to my stress. I have treied to quit smoking several times in the past, to no avail. I know that is the biggie to do, but what else? I have educated myself on-line as much as I can, but there isn't a lot of info out there to help in practical matters.
Avatar f tn I always had problems with remembering what I planned on asking the doctor too. One day I just pulled out my list of questions that I had meant to ask but couldn't remember and my doctor actually said he was glad that I had written them down. It saves them time while we are trying to remember, plus they don't have to deal with us calling later because we remembered something we had forgotten to ask.
Avatar f tn What specific test(s) should we ask be performed on him and what specific questions should he ask? 3. Could I have exposed my children to hsv2 by sharing a towel? Bathing in the tub with them when they were little? Wiping diaper cream on them, etc.? 4. Obviously I am concerned about the quality of our sex life going forward (not at the expense of my husband's health). Everything I read indicates Valtrex daily supression & condoms will reduce exposure.
301354 tn?1211810520 Oh questions to ask would be: How would you handle a high risk pregnancy or an emergency if one occured? Would you be delivering the baby or would a doctor assist you? How many years have you been in the field? How do you view medication or c-sections (you never know, you may need one...and some midwifes may be not willing to do one)? Also you may want to find a hospital you do like. We have a few in our area; two larger ones and one small one.
Avatar f tn It's difficult to say what someone should ask ....... whatever concerns her is what she should ask about. It's a good idea to write down any questions before a person sees the Dr. so nothing is forgotten. I'm guessing that you will be going with her which is also a good idea; an extra pair of ears can be very valuable as we often miss something that is said. I think she will have more questions after she sees the Surgeon and is advised as to the next step in the process.
Avatar f tn Hello every one ..so have a few questions to ask you. Ok so I've been with my bf for 4 years and we talked about marriage and children yesterday. And he said in about 8 years which would put him at 31 and me at 29 ...and I certainly do not want to wait that long. I want one by atleast 25 and married. How could we compromise.
Avatar f tn ) Tomorrow is my ultrasound and up to this point I have no details on my baby. Besides edd. What are good questions to ask as far as my babys growth and development?
Avatar m tn t had my eyes looked at since July) and I just thought it perhaps worth brainstroming to see what some sensible questions to ask her might be. My inclination at present is not to ask too much and just to let her get on with it. History if you remember - RD right eye 14 months ago following PVD. Aphakic in both eyes following complicated congenital cataract surgery. Brilliant outcome so far with the RD - no vision lost whatsoever and all entirely stable.
Avatar f tn Am I going to the right direction in my recovery? Will these thoughts go away some point? I could ask million questions but I leave it there.

Avatar n tn I would like to ask Dr. HHH questions. How to do it? Keep on trying but I can't? Please guide me.
Avatar f tn i was wondering when is a good time to ask about circumsizion? Im planning on thay for my son , or when to ask about the hospital i will be giving birth at like regrestration???
Avatar n tn My dermoid surgery is still 3 months away, and my preoperative appointment isn't until 2 days before the surgery. When I saw the OBGYN (who will be doing the surgery) for the first time last week, I really liked her - she was friendly, professional, and informative, and answered all my questions - unfortunately, my mind kind of went blank and I couldn't even think of what to ask! She emphasized that I was welcome to call if I had any questions at all, and I will be doing that.
Avatar f tn t get nervous and forget to ask anything that concerns you .You might want to bring someone along to help you ask questions. This person can also help you understand and/or remember the Doctor’s answers and recommendations. Wishing you all the best.
1451338 tn?1413475023 I am trying to put together a list of questions to ask the new neurologist I'm seeing next week. I'm a little worried because I just found out that I'm being paired with a resident, so I don't know how familiar a resident will be with Chiari. What suggestions do you have for questions that I should ask?
