It helps, if you ingest some pure
glucose (available as dextrose or glucodin, or
glucose syrup) along with the food high in fructose. This won't help with foods high in sorbitol though.
Glucose helps in absorption of fructose.
And, crystalfresh, its important to remember that fructose, sorbitol and wheat can all irritate you. Some are tolerant to wheat others are not, so you have to find this out.
Also: Fructose malabsorption is NOT an allergy.
