Common Questions and Answers about Glucosamine liquid supplier

glucosamine

Avatar f tn 005 mg by pouring (or getting with a dropper) the corresponding amount of liquid (as I said, you have to get the math right to know how much of the liquid this is). Hm, off the top of my head, actually, it looks like that's just a fourth of it, huh? I hope I'm not brain farting that. But 0.005 times 5 is 0.02, so that looks right. Okay, so if you crush the pill, dilute it VERY thoroughly so it's evenly distributed in some VERY carefully measured water (let's use 4 oz.
Avatar n tn I went to human vitamin store and got her some glucosamine supplements. I got the liquid flavored glucosamine and the glucosamine soft flavored chew. I know some cannot swallow pills. My dog eats the chews if I slightly warm them. She will not touch the liquid. I would rather put a pill in some meat or something. It is much easier for her to take. I put her back on a food with glucosamine and she isnt having any problems. I learned my lesson about changing foods.
638291 tn?1233060603 I would like to find out if it's ok to take liquid collagen and what are the benefits Than you
441382 tn?1452810569 Her dosage is (max.) 500mg. Glucosamine, and 200 Chondroitin. I found a supplier of tablets (a reputable shop ) on ebay UK where the tablets only contain these two supplements, and in this amount (apart from a few usual things which are added to pills in manufacture, and these substances are harmless enough to her, I checked this with the vet) Occasionally I have to buy tablets which contain Glucosamine 500 and Chondroitin a slightly lesser amount.
6669309 tn?1462648142 Arthritis is very common in older dogs and the longer dogs live the more common it is becoming. Nutritional supplements Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate are two substances that have fast become the standard treatment in canine age-related arthritis. These are often sold as a single combined substance in good pet shops and quality supermarkets. Alternatively, just look up "Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate for dogs" on Google and you should find a supplier.
Avatar m tn I am looking for a quality supplier for herbs, vitamins, and other natural products. I've heard there are differences in quality. I figure if I am going to spend my money, I want it to be on something worthwhile. So what does everyone else do? Do you have a favorite supplier? If so, why? I cannot really find any third party reviews on these type of products.
Avatar m tn 5 pound schnauzer and has been limping a bit after exercise. I have started giving her 500 mg of glucosamine a day and wanted to know if this is the right dosage?
161647 tn?1280608163 The only thing I can think of was that my mom started taking Glucosamine last year. Can the Glucosamine affect eye vision. Or does anyone have any suggestions. My mom is worried that there is something seriously wrong because the doctor said the next step is too see a retina specialist. Thanks for any advise.
1093971 tn?1257833640 Not all glucosamine products are created equal. In order to best evaluate a product, you need to consider several things. When your healthcare and joint discomfort is at stake, take a moment and consider these criteria: What form is the glucosamine in? What is the total daily dose? Are there any other ingredients? What type is the glucosamine? How pure are the ingredients? If you’re considering taking glucosamine with chondroitin you have another ballgame.
Avatar f tn I just recently started taking glucosamine and Chondroitin to help my knee recover from a dislocated patella. but for some reason my contact lenses have become very dry is that a side effect of the glucosamine??. I have used this type of soft contacts for a long time but never experienced this problem. Thanks.
Avatar m tn My dog weighed 28-30lbs and the correct dose for her was 500mg Glucosamine per day. The vet said the 'human' Glucosamine was fine to use, so long as the dosage was correct for the dog's weight. So it depends what your dog's weight is, how much you can increase the dose. As far as I can make out, dogs (and humans too) respond differently to Glucosamine. With some there are great results, and with some, not much improvement. You could mention this to your vet perhaps.
Avatar n tn so, I do not have any signs so far and I took a home HIV test kit (LabPro… with Diluent Liquid stuff) and I was negative but I assume that two weeks after the exposure is to early. So could you please advise what is the earliest that I could undertake another test and if these tests are reliable??? And what is the level of risk that I have with this exposure.
Avatar f tn My dog is 12 year old and has arthrits and the vet told me to use glucosamine. In the summer time he does not need it. Now my dog is whimpering and shakeing, when I pet him he stops. This started a couple of days ago. The weather got really cold fast and I just started him back on glucosamine. Does this sound like the arthrits acting up or do I need to worry? How much glucosamine can I give him? I hate when my dog is in pain, I have had him since I was in kindergarden.
Avatar n tn I checked UBAvet, did you give their liquid glucosamine to your dog? I tried Synflex for him but he got severe diarrhea, might be due to the numerous other ingredients in the formula.
Avatar n tn Go to your local heath store or drug store such as CVS or Walgreens and get a Glucosamine / Chondroitin combination suppliment. It comes in capsule form, tablet, and liquid form. You decide which will be easier to administer to Sassy. This suppliment can not hurt her it can only help her. It is safe to give to her everyday and she should get it everyday at her age. Your Vet will have some that is much more expensive than that in the stores but it is more potent.

Avatar m tn My suppliers, supplier is no longer doing it and tomorrow is the day i run out. I am scared, worried, but excited to get on with my life once this wd is over. In the 2 years Ive been taking 20 a day, sometimes a few more and the only reason i take anymore is to feel normal. They get me up a little bit in the morning, that is all. I'm mostly worried about the wife and son, and work. Im thinking of claiming I have food poisoning or something so I can be left alone or cared for a few days.
675347 tn?1365460645 Please does anyone know the dosage of Glucosamine Sulphate for dogs? How many milligrams per pound body weight? Also, is it ok to give my dog the regular Glucosamine (which people take) as it is so much cheaper to buy that at the supermarket, than to get it from the vet, or to buy dog treats which contain it! Thanks for any help or suggestions, anyone. Ginger.
Avatar m tn I take a throid pill every morning. Would glucosamine Chondrotin interfer with it?
Avatar f tn Hi,does anyone know what dose of glucosamine & chondroitin i should give my 7yr old border collie,he is getting very stiff in his hind leg when getting up(old injury when he was 1yr old) but once he gets going he is still as fit & active as ever.
2121656 tn?1395674749 I would also put her on a glucosamine and chondroitin supplement. Even if she is only mildly arthritic this will help her. It works by rebuilding the cartilage that is eaten away by arthritis. It works pretty quickly, too. You might see some results as soon as two weeks after beginning treatment and usually by the time you are 30 days into treatment you will see a significant difference in her behavior with regard to showing signs of pain. Please keep us updated on how she is doing.
1110049 tn?1409402144 Glucosamine is commonly taken in combination with chondroitin, a glycosaminoglycan derived from articular cartilage. Use of complementary therapies, including glucosamine, is common in patients with osteoarthritis, and may allow for reduced doses of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents.
689367 tn?1227469139 I have also been told that glucosamine (Joint supplements) is not good for your eyes and could elevate pressure. How true is that?
