Any feedback on this would be much appreciated. Ive been on glucophage and femara and ttc for 12 months with no luck. My period was due 4 days ago but instead I had a reddish/brown light discharge The day my period was due . This lasted a day or so and now have a very light creamish discharge for last 2 days. No sign of my period. I haven't done a test this month as I really don't want to be looking at another negative.
why do my glucophage tablets give off a first smell and taste impression of being mouldy?

have to lose another 30lbs to be normal.diagnosed with pcos.have been takin glucophage, no refined carbs plus low fat and workout. have been trying desperately to get pregnant.i dont ovulate.period regular for 18 months now. my problem is unexpected bleeding after 20 days of period .my cycle is 30 days have been regular.this sort of a thing never happened before.im ruling out ovulation and implantation bleeding ,coz it cant be a regular heavy bleeding,the kind im having since this morning.

scolded me for stopping the med, and insists that I continue to give him Glucophage. The Dr. says that the Glucophage will serve as an appetite suppresant as well as help control the blood sugars. Have you ever heard of other children being prescribed Glucophage in addition to other insulin? What are the facts on Glucophage and juveniles?
I need to find a PCOS specialist. I have always missed like one or two months of my period. I started taking Glucophage and Byetta. My cycle started to come down on a monthly basis. I got off of both these medications maybe 8 months ago and now I am back to the missed months again. I am also taking Maxide for my high blood pressure and I take it every single day, faithfully. In Januray my cycle was fine (usually lasts 4 days) and then in February, I started seeing lighter menstruation.
Hi, I also have pcos i was diagnosed about 7 months ago, my husband and I have been ttc for almost 3 years. Are you on metformin? It regulates hormones and in some cases can help you get pregnant, it is not a fertility treatment so you should not have to wait a year. You should see a reproductive endocrinologist they can put you on metformin.
I have hypothryoid disease ( all new to me ) and my doctor has perscribed glucophage to me to helped with irreglar menstral cycles.
Hi! If diagnosed with high insulin, is it safe to medicate like taking glucophage? Is it harmful to the liver?
I took birth-control pills so that I can have a normal period but then my Doctor prescribed me to take Glucophage 500 mg twice a day after food but it has side effects like dizziness, nausea, low blood pressure and diarrehea... I went to pharmacies and asked about the medicine ( Glocophage), they say its good but it is not making me feel good. The last pharmacy I went to suggested that I should take Glucophage XR. I still didnt take it, Im still using Glucophage.
I started by monitering my diet and still I needed medication, so my doctor prescribed me with Glucophage XR 500mg, 2 pills a day taken at same time.
She said that I still not a type 2 diabetic but just to be safe she told me to start taking glucophage once a day for 1 week and increase to 2x a day after that. Then I will repeat my tests in January. Should I start taking the meds as she prescribe. I am not overweight and no one in my family is diabetic.
... I think I'm taking a break from TTC. I know we've only tried for 3 months in a row, but there's so much going on. I think if I get a BFN this month I'm putting TTC on the back burner. We won't prevent, of course, but we won't deliberately try either. I'll probably take Evening Primrose Oil with my vitamins just to help things along but my conscious efforts will be focused elsewhere!
my husband has recently started glucophage he is having abdominal pain and sweats and headaches and nervous spells throughout the day. He is not having huge spike in his blood sugars. Should his body adjust to the medicine?
