645390 tn?1338555377 Do you think that maybe she misunderstood you? I'm on Copaxone and it cost about the same price. My copay is $15.00/month, my insurance covers the rest. I would call your insurance company and ask them how much it will be. If your insurance doesn't deal with shared solutions try calling Pression RX.
Avatar f tn s boceprevir marked as Victrelis has a wholesale price of $1,100 per week, or between $26,400 and $48,400 for a course of treatment, depending on needed duration. http://clinicianonnet.blogspot.com/2011/05/boceprevir-and-telaprevir-for-hepatitis.html I am taking Incivek and I know it costs $17,700 per 4 weeks (so $4425 per week) just for the Incivek. $17,000 is the amount my insurance company is paying per 4 weeks. (That is even higher than the May 2011 quoted price noted above.
356518 tn?1322263642 There are a couple that can get the Zofran and then make the tablets at a cut price but it wasn't honestly enough to go thru the trouble. Also they have to alter the medicine because of patents and trademarks so they add things like vitamins to the medicine. She could check in her area and different drugs have different cost. I was surprised that it was not much cheaper! I will fill my next prescription with compazine and see if it helps as it is cheaper.
796506 tn?1370188305 Well I called tricare and the reason that I had to pay full price is because the doc didn't call the right number for pre authorization. I called my doc and they are going to fix all of it for me so I should be receiving a refund. Thank you so much for the fill in.
649848 tn?1534633700 I talked to Akrimax once, after the price hike and was told that they had to double the price in order to maintain the quality. Tirosint is manufactured in Switzerland, so I'm sure there is added cost to market it, in other countries, including the U.S. I just think it's a bit out of line to have tripled in price in 7 months. Levoxyl has been back in production for a couple months now and Tirosint is still going up in price.
Avatar m tn I received my new script today and noticed the price listed this month was $33,600 In past scripts it showed $28,000 I was under the impression that there was pressure to lower the cost. Thank god for the help of the foundation.
Avatar f tn There are quite a few inexpensive generic meds that treat Lyme. Since you're paying full price until you hit a deductible, surely your doc could put you on a cheaper one for a while. I've also read about the Doxy shortage. A major manufacturer had issues and that really cut into supply, just as we're coming into spring and ticks are waking up in the colder climates to start biting (unlike California where they're active all winter).
Avatar f tn Have they lost their minds with greed? Even if you could go through Medicare Part D, once you payed the price in and out of the "doughnut hole", you would be in the "catastrophic" stage, and get most/all of it covered. It has just been my experience that your GI MDs office might be the best place to see if they can get the meds you need at the lowest possible prices.
Avatar f tn hi..please can anybody tell me how much is the price of baraclude 500 mcg in india?and also tenofovir..thank you very much for your help..
Avatar n tn I was told the cost for a 48 wk treatment of peginterferon/ribaviron (pegasys and copegus) was around $30,000. I am a self employed single wage earner with no medical insurance. I spoke with my Dr. and because of my income they helped me apply to Pegassist through Genentech. I get all my meds at no charge but I am responsible for the cost of all lab work through the 11 months and dr. office calls.
620048 tn?1358018235 Yes, copaxone went up in price. the insurance side use to be a little over $2000 a month and I noticed it went up to $3000 a month now, it didnt affect my co-pay but that is what happend. a big jump in price for sure!!
Avatar n tn I lost my insurance after 13 years post-transplant.
Avatar m tn Because Insurance companies are involved and often they are put on restrictions by the government. It's a mess and not a topic for debate in this forum.
10869131 tn?1430198496 Wow, that's a lot. I was told that it would be $75 at the hospital. I had a girl though. Lol...
1035252 tn?1427227833 This is totally OT but why have they said the Unite States and Canada...
Avatar m tn Really a good news. I will like to know the possible price for the drugs and which company are going to be given authorize to deliver the drugs.
Avatar m tn Please, anyone could give a hint how to get ENTACAVIR at a good price? This medicine has been very effective to me and I'll have to take it "ad aeternum", BUT it is very expensive. Is there any program or any cooperative group buyer to reach and get some discount? I appreciate any info whoch could help me. Thanks a lot.
Avatar n tn Fairy godmother, .....go to the gym!
Avatar f tn missing a tooth so need a fake one; and braces to push back teeth, pull together teeth, and spread some apart. I think one tooth has even started spotting brown towards the back. Also where one of the cavities is, it is on the side of a tooth that had already had a filling on the bottom of it and i am scared it might break the tooth. I live far away from real dentists and no car to get anywhere near one.
Avatar m tn Hi Honey, Check if your doctor's office offeres packages. Mine offered a three package special, which includes 1 fresh and 2 frozen. I'm not sure if I can say the price but it was the least I found in South Florida. Also, this package allows me to pay a difference if I want to change my frozen for fresh. Which I'm doing for my second cycle. The medication was on average about the same price.
Avatar m tn Hi Rene. I have severe fibrosis of the lungs and had 35% of each removed 6 years ago as a treatment to ease the breathing, so I take 4 inhalers on a regular basis. I also take Oxycocet for disc pain and have been very surprised by a side effect. It actually opens up my airways to the extent that it feels as though I don’t have any obstruction and helps my breathing more than the inhaler meds combined.
436837 tn?1293793226 the original price was $1000 to have it removed..the price is getting worse and worse.I feel guilty because we are not wealthy and cannot afford this procedure...we live in Wisconsin ...
9663463 tn?1407525554 What stroller and car seat do you ladies recommend? I started looking today and have no idea which to get!
Avatar n tn My plan was/is I saw a psychiatrist last we and she gave me cloripine 2 times a day.. I had pills and wanted to go down slow but being the addict I am now, I could not... I do not have sleep meds... should I? I certainly can ask her.. I've taken all the anxiety drugs and never abused them at all... It's quite simply the 'high' from vicodin that I like... I was taking 8-9 when I woke, 3-4 at lunch, and 8--9 when I got off work... Now none! ARGH!!!
