specialist he ruled out the collitis and said it was gastroenteritis he told me to continue the levaquin i was prescribed. its been about a month now and my stool varies with every deffacation from semi hard to pure liquid to very loose im wondering how i can repair this and get back to normal. i also have had pains in my lower left abdominal region almost like i am constipated but even after a bowel movement it it still there.

by me. update. yes it was a 36 hour bugg. he was sick and legs really hurt bad but he was fine after 36 hours and he took some ultram and his legs felt much better. and thanks to the guy who responded.

If you run any fever or the symptoms don’t improve after 24 hrs,then pls consult a physician.It can be due to bacterial gastroenteritis and antibiotics may be needed.Also due to your age,ectopic pregnancy has to be ruled out. I hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted.

Hello! I seem to have unfortunately caught gastroenteritis. I was given Ondansentron and it helped immensely. However, I can't sleep. I'm so wired and my stomach still hurts but luckily, no side effects. Is this normal? Is it the gastroenteritis or the drug?

Hello, thanks for your response! My stools keep changing, like I'll have diarrhea 3-4 times one day and then I'll have more solid stools twice the next day. And before I have to go I have really bad cramping. I do have ovarian cysts, and I'm supposed to start my period soon, so maybe that's the cramping. But it's worrying me. I know I need to go to the doctor, but I have bad anxiety that I'm working on.

i have been to the doctors and to the hospital with no luck. They did all kinds of tests but came up with nothing. The only pain i have is a tooth and the dentist said that it would not be giving me these symptoms even though i need a root canal done. I don't know where to turn next. Very weak. I am on a Z-pak for the tooth for 4 days now but nothing is happening.
