Avatar m tn I am suffering with Gas problems for 3-4 years. Excess gas forming and much odor (bad smell) and this make me upset. I consulted with many doctors and they have given me different medications during these period. There is no stomach pain and there is no indigestion problems. There is little bit problems for Piles, and motion is not normal.

You could try eating smaller meals more often, avoid acidic foods (like tomato sauce) and avoid the foods that cause you to have gas. Sorry, not sure what duodilon is.

Avatar f tn Are you eating a lot of carbs? Sugars will do that, especially during pregnancy. (They do it anyway, and your digestion is slower during pregnancy, and your sense of smell is also more acute.

Avatar f tn I try to tums first & if that doesn't work or it's really bad, I use gas x. Both are okay during pregnancy. I like the chewable gas x, in case I'm not near a drink to swallow a pill.

Avatar n tn I avoided spicy foods and food that causes gas. I took Gas-Ex from time to time when the gas pain was severe. I took Pepto Bismol when I had diarrhea and cramping. I also took over the counter acid reducers for heartburn. My recommendation is to ask for a referral right away to a gynecologist and find out what other tests should be completed to further evaluate and treat the cyst.

Avatar f tn I agree that probiotics are a good idea, although this will almost surely not solve your problems. If you are having gas problems, then you can try gas-x, but do not take handfuls. Only take what is recommend on the box or by your doctor. Have you had any testing done?
897362 tn?1318121281 The only things you need to worry about are x rays, and laying on your back for long periods of time. You also cannot have gas during the procedure because that does go to the baby. Good luck!
Avatar f tn long story short...i have had some problems during pregnancy ...i am 23 weeks...yesterday i went for my check up and they did a transvaginal ultrasound.... i had one 4 weeks ago and my cervix measured at a 3.....now 4 weeks later it is 1.6 (with preasure)...obviously the doctor was concerned and said to come home on full best and come back on thursday to see if it got any shorter. if so i may need to spend the rest of my pregnancy in the hospital. so we shall see.... what is a cerlage?
