About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
Frequent urination doesn't suggest STD of any kind. It is often a symptom of stress or anxiety, especially when the source of anxiety is concern about genital health. So I doubt you caught an STD, and I doubt anything is wrong except for anxiety. But if your symptoms persist, see your health care provider or your local STD clinic for examination and reassurance. You can expect that nothing abnormal will be found.
Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out.
For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
t it true that HSV-2 can cause frequent urination? and not everyone gets ulcers, lesions, and blister? correct? If this was from hsv-2 would my symptoms last this long. going past 2 weeks of frequent urination? The STD clinic said it could be from that and my heart sank. thank you for your time and i swear i did not mean to imply that i preferred the other doctor. He just knew more about me. If it is really a change for you, it is best to see your doctor as there are a variety of health reasons that cause frequent urination. I found that I was having frequent urination at night and had to limit liquid intake after a certain hour and that certain things cause me to have to go more such as iced tea. ?? Have no idea why but that seems to come straight back out.

So 2.5 months ago I had unprotected sex and for most of the time since the. I've had frequent urination. And anxiety and guilt cause it shouldn't have happened. I'm seeing a doctor next week. But in the meantime wanted the thoughts. No discharge, no pain really. I had a urine culture done and everything came back fine. Prostate was checked and that was fine. It just feels irritated down there a slightly itchy. It does NOT hurt to urinate before during or after. Any thoughts?
I didn't really experience frequent urination during my first trimester...but am having it in my second trimester..am 15 weeks 5 days..anyone else with the same issue.could this be normal?

In middle of may 2014 i started to experience frequent urination doctor put me on ciproflaxcin and then doxycycline, so got scared and took a oraquick test which was negative. Since then i have just been feeling all types of symptoms. The frequent urination is still there, anal itching, back of the tongue has whiteness(maybe its thrush), sometimes pain after sex, low libido, back hurts and lately just have been lightheaded like dizzy.
And is less likely to appear in the groin, because of fatty tissue there, that prevents transmission. Frequent urination can be anything from anxiety, to caffeine intake, to uti, gonnarhea/chlaym.. enlarged prostate or water intake. Burning urination can add herpes to that list, but without sores not likely. This is a secondary symptom. Bottom line, no sores after two weeks you good. And you passed an std test. Full panel I'm assuming?
urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, intake of diuretics and other medications, radiation therapy or bladder dysfunction. It would really help if you consult with the urologist for further evaluation and management.

I have been experiencing frequent urination for the past 2 months. I do not experience any other symptoms. I do not have any burning or pain. I just feel the urge to urinate every 1-2 hours. The color of my urine is also normal. There has been no change in the amount of fluids i consume. My thyroid is normal and i am not diabetic. Also, my urinalysis and urine culture have come out normal. What could be causing this?

Frequent urination is NOT a symptom of gonorrhea or other urethral infection -- but is related to overactivity of the bladder, which is an extremely common issue in people with anxiety over a sexual encounter they regret. On top of all that, amoxicillin would have prevented most gonorrhea (as well as chlamydial infection) -- it's not a recommended treatment, but would effectively prevent most infections if taken before (or soon after) exposure.
I already posted yesterday but now I have new symptom after 1week 3 days from exposure. Now I have white thrush on my tongue and I'm still have joint pain and headaches and frequent urination.
re describing can be caused by anxiety. Hyperventilating is a common symptom of an anxiety attack. The rest can be caused by long-term anxiety and stress. They can also, however, be caused by other things, but you say doctors have eliminated physiological causes and you also say you suffer from stress and anxiety, so there you go. Are you in therapy or doing anything else about this?
