frequent urination night sleep

Iv just been put back on steroids for IBD, but i dont know why i have these urinary symptoms with it? and last night was just ridiculous because i couldnt get any sleep with it. dont know what i should do as i have to get some sleep tonight for work early on mon. any ideas?

Does anyone else feel they have to urinate more than normal. ...it's so embarrassing but don't even get good night sleep bcz I wake up 4-5 tines every night and sometimes even more. Is it normal or should I contact my doctor. I am only 7 week pregnant.

After the surgery I was able to go 4 hours during the day and sleep all night!! No more 15 times a day to the bathroom. Unfortunately 6 wks after surgery I was rear ended and have to have the lead surgically replaced tomorrow but it is so worth it. I know you say you have no insurance so this is not an option, I guess, for you right now but there is hope!!!!

I have to get up three time at night for urination. this disturbs my sleep. I tale about a minute to start urination all the time when i go for urination. I am 80. Not diabetic.Bladder functioning OK. No enlargement of prostate. confirmed by sonography. Any suggestion?

I have to urinate frequently in small bursts, i can control it sometimes, but at night when i try to go to sleep i cant hold it. I have this feeling that my penis is constantly trying to eject the liquid, it's hard to explain but its like there's pressure. I recently had an achographie which showed a pblem in emptying.

I have been having very annoying bouts of frequent urination. I go to the bathroom alot during the day, but at night, it's every few minutes. It's so bad I only get about 3-4 hours of sleep every night. And, even after I go, I feel like I still have to go. At first I just had to go to the bathroom alot. I am suffering from frequent high volume urination both during the day and night. During the day I can go every half to three quarters of an hour and in the evening I usually go every hour on the hour. I do suffer from sleep apnea (untreated) also which leaves me exhausted every day.

A neurologic problem, hormonal disorders, pituitary gland problems, a urinary tract infection, increase intake of fluids and certain medications. Certain tests may need to be done to have these differentials excluded. A baseline urinalysis and urine culture, urodynamic studies, and CT scan of the kidney, ureter and bladder may help. I suggest a consult with a urologist to at least rule out an underlying urinary tract infection.

For the last 40 years I have had severe frequent nighttime urination. Started out five or six times per night I would wake up And now it is between six and 15 times per night. I have been to over 100 medical doctors of all types in this 40 years and no one can tell me what the issue is. Just wondering if anyone out there has perhaps had any issues like this. Haven't had a good nights sleep and 40 years. No prostate issues!

the medicne i was taking right now is prevacid (lansoprazole) motilium and aleva ebastine i dont now if that is the reason of it that cause frequent urination and i have no pain at all in urination and i can sleep easily. could also be like thinking that you need to urinate could be a cause for it if i having activity i am not having frequent urination i take complete urinalysis but it negative is only urobilinogen says .

I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT! Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.

I didn't really experience frequent urination during my first trimester...but am having it in my second trimester..am 15 weeks 5 days..anyone else with the same issue.could this be normal?

At 4 weeks you shouldn't be having frequent urination, and definitely not much to keep you running up and down. You might have a UTI, I would check for one.

but what could be causing the frequent urination? I only take fish oil and multivitamins. Medical history that I have is cervical stenosis also have herniated discs in the back as well. I am a drinker but have been sober for the past month.
