Avatar n tn If it is really a change for you, it is best to see your doctor as there are a variety of health reasons that cause frequent urination. Have no idea why but that seems to come straight back out. talk to your doctor if you are having this symptom.

Avatar m tn I saw a question about frequent urination and stress. I wanted to add this comment. I was having severe frequent urination problems. I went to several doctors and even the Mayo Clinic. I was eventually diagnosed with "chronic prostatitis." Not wanting to give up because of the problems it was causing me, I looked at stress as the possible cause. I went to a psychologist for biofeedback training -- relaxation training -- and after 3 or 4 weeks my symptoms subsided.

Avatar f tn I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT! Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
Avatar m tn t it true that HSV-2 can cause frequent urination? and not everyone gets ulcers, lesions, and blister? correct? If this was from hsv-2 would my symptoms last this long. going past 2 weeks of frequent urination? The STD clinic said it could be from that and my heart sank. thank you for your time and i swear i did not mean to imply that i preferred the other doctor. He just knew more about me. I apologize once again.

Avatar n tn green tea is very healthy, but you cannot over do it. maybe a cup every other morning. drinking green tea every single day causes headaches, and what you've been experiencing. cut down to maybe half a cup a day.

Avatar n tn Frequent nighttime urination can be a sign of diabetes. Adding back pain to your description could mean kidney problems. You don't need me to tell you to cut down the tea and drink water for a while to see if it helps your symptoms. Another "watch" could be for sleep apnea. It causes a hormone to be released that contributes to repeated nighttime urination. It also causes daytime fatigue and sleepiness.
Avatar f tn I am not sleeping ,I was diagnosed with insomnia a while ago and put on a sleep aid, but those days are over. I also have a bladder condition which causes frequent urination and bladder pain. Which is a double whammy and getting worse by the second. I already get up to pee so much, I don't know what I'm going to do as my baby grows and it doesn't help my sleep problem at all.
Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
Avatar n tn I do not have a problem with urination in general, as I am still able to urinate with no problems when I actually have to go (such as in the mornings when I wake up.) What could be causing this? I haven't had sex in well over a year and I've been tested for most everything (so had my ex) so I'm pretty confident that it is not an STD. About a week ago I had some minor chafing on my penis which was from dry masturbation but that has healed fully.
Avatar f tn I already know I have Herpes 2, but am not back in the US so I can get on medication. I have frequent nighttime urination which is caused by the Herpes 2 ( i had done a bacteria urine test and it was negative) . I just wondered, when I get on Valtrex will it take care of the frequent urination at night or do I need to get other medication for that? Anyone out there ever experience it. I think a lot of persons come here for support, not just because they are worried they might be infected.
