foot reflexology knee pain

I guess I'm on a roll with the posts tonight. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with reflexology or knows anything about it. As far as I can tell, it's a kind of foot massage where stimulating different points on the foot is supposed to have different effects. I have a friend who's studying reflexology and needs people to practice on so she wants to use my husband and me as guinea pigs.

Is any body suffering from severe pelvic pain at 36+ week. I am suffering its like hell cannot even walk without crutches and also swollem foot. Do anybody know any remedies.

I didn't like reflexology. My feet were in pain for a while afterwards, because the CFS made me sensitive. My guess is for you that the physical stress from the pain of the reflexology triggered up the cfs a bit. It doesn't have to be a lot of pain to trigger. A cfs's body's reaction to pain & changes is not normal (studies have actually shown this).

Been dealing with foot cramps this year (hey not the horrible crippling leg spasms of last summer, so no complaints!!!), and my hubby has been helping with foot and calf massage. My daughter is a college soccer player and is having knee pain on the inside of her knee/near the medial meniscus. It hurts (dull pain) when she straightens it and puts weight on it. It gets sharp when she goes into tackles and her foot gets turned out. Anyone know what could be causing it?

I alleviate this with Chinese foot massages. Try them. Reflexology works. They work the soles of the feet and on up through your central nervous system and pressure points. I don't like using medication. I do have a little heart murmur and I use to faint a lot. I try to keep my stress level low and reflexology helps. Try it!

This is a problem, because now I am using my left leg more and am afraid it will re-injury that knee. Is there any reason why my right foot would have pain in relation to the left knee injury? I can walk (sort of) on my toes, but cannot walk with my foot flat to the floor. The pain is from the inside across the bottom arch area to the outside closer to the heel. It hurts a little up into my leg.

A few weeks ago I started experiencing acute knee pain, the best way to describe it is a serring ripping pain in my knee. It feels like a knife is slicing my knee open. The pain is localized to the inner portion of my knee. As quick as it comes it leave.

I have had pain behind my knee for almost a year now. I had a meniscal tear taken care of last June and I was told it would also take care of the ganglion cyst that had developed. 6 weeks after the surgery I was still having the pain and discomfort behind my knee. I experience increased tightness and pain with exercise....the more I use it the less I am able to do. Even walking causes discomfort. I am not able to pick up my foot and move it back as if trying to touch my butt with my foot.

Since then I have pain around the outer edge of my left foot and across the arch of my foot. Can you give me an answer as to why this has happened and what can I do for the pain?

ve heard a lot of people say that you should not have a foot massage during pregnancy... I tried to find some information online and I can't seem to find any real proof... What do you ladies think? Has anyone ever told you its bad or could cause contractions? Is it only the first trimester or the entire pregnancy? My over bearing mother-in-law is driving me crazy about it...

A 3 pound can was dropped on the top of my foot today,I am experiencing swelling and pain that shoots down to my toes ands up my leg.I can still walk on my foot but it hurts.Could I have a small fracture on the top of my foot?

A week ago I went to my doctor because I was having pain in my left foot,.lateral foot pain. It's been going on for about 6 weeks. It would dull ache most of the time with sudden bouts of extreme pain in which it felt like a knife was digging in my foot. He did an xray and said it wasn't broken and prescribed anti-inflammatory medication. A week later and now I can't bend my left knee back and it's hurting to put pain on my knee.

In my opinion contractions feel like cramps that last longer. The pain starts off mild (I think I feel something) then it begins to increase (oh boy this must be a contraction) wow this is intense, and then it slowly fades out..

t intend on repeating the two surgeries on the other side for a couple of years, unless my left foot or knee dictate it quicker. I am bone on bone on the knee, and the left foot is worse than the right was. Thanks for your encouragement and any other advice is welcome.
