1388357 tn?1280189493 Hi...I still get the vibration and cramps in my foot...it always seemed to happen when I changed my shoes...one style to another..... I am still having this issue...tho not like b4 as that is the case with many of my symptoms...but I had a month or more of the vibrating, now I have had a few nights of cramps in the arch of my feet. My hands tend to cramp when I hold something too long.....
Avatar f tn I get foot and leg and even body cramps but have had them for years due to probably the diuretic I take for edema from my cirrhosis. For me actually I seem to have fewer cramps on Harvoni but still get them occasionally Best to ask your doctor if your symptoms cause concern. Make sure you are hydrating enough it can help with the headachs.

1218873 tn?1300091216 well I recall getting huge cramps in my feet and toes in my youth while mucking around in swimming pools. My toes would get gaps like that and curl, sounds very similar. So maybe it IS some kind of muscle cramp/spasm similar to normal old cramp? Just MS related?
Avatar f tn Rest cramps often occur during the night. While not life-threatening, night cramps (commonly known as nocturnal cramps) can be painful, disruptive of sleep, and they can recur frequently (that is, many times a night, and/or many nights each week). The actual cause of night cramps is unknown. Sometimes, such cramps are initiated by making a movement that shortens the muscle. An example is pointing the toe down while lying in bed, which shortens the calf muscle, a common site of cramps.
Avatar m tn About a week ago, I dislocated my knee while doing competitive swimming. It shifted to the whole side if my left knee. Since then I have seen doctors. I had asked him the question of why my foot was swelling. He simply said it was fluid.. (it was only my foot that had been n swelling at the moment) But since then my whole leg from my hip to my foot has ballooned up. It's still the same color but its hard to move and very heavy. I don't no whats going on and I am a little concerned.
Avatar m tn I have been getting bad cramps that really feel like shooting pain down one vein in my arm, leg, and foot. Is this normal? Does anyone get something like that or just cramps in the arches of your feet? I also get cramps in my knee.
Avatar m tn From the history, it seems like allergic reaction to infected or possibly polluted water while swimming. (the photos section shows there are 3 photos but nothing is visible). Just for your information, a swimming pool rash is common either swimming in either chlorinated, polluted or infected water. The skin regions exposed to pool water containing excessive amount of chlorine may also lead to such rash.
Avatar f tn Can i go swimming while preg? is there a limit on swimming at some point during my pregnancy? and are there any serious health risks? thanks im advance!
Avatar f tn Not too sure what the medical problem is but I injured my knee really badly before and found swimming was the only exercise I could do for a while! The water means there's less stress on your foot plus swimming is great for toning muscles and cardio. If this isn't for you just doing crunches, situps, etc should help you tone up.
Avatar f tn How cold do you really think a hotel swimming pool is? Swimming while pregnant is recommended because it helps a lot with aches and pains and is good for stretching out muscles. Hotels have a temperature they maintain. Anything colder would obviously be too cold for most people to swim in and shouldn't be swam in anyway, so no, swimming in a hotel pool will not cause premature labour, and if you're so worried then don't go.
Avatar n tn Swimming is an excellent activity for pregnancy! Especially if you were swimming before pregnancy. The water offers good resistance and bouyancy which can take some of the pressure off later in pregnancy. Just don't push yourself too hard, keep your pace steady, and if you feel you're having trouble keeping your breathing steady or if you get a cramp, stop and give yourself a break. The point is to be active, not to break records or push yourself too hard.
Avatar f tn Went swimming today, I heard it's really good for the baby. It made me have contractions & came home super hungry lol but was fun: ) you ladies should try.
Avatar f tn Is anyone experiencing foot cramps? My left foot keeps cramping and it hurts for days at a time. Anything to releive the pain?? Thanks in advance!
Avatar f tn my husbands foot always cramps up after we have sex....is there a way to stop this....send me a private messege......
Avatar m tn I've been having constant foot cramps. Podiatrist recommended some stretches and stuff, but also suggested a thyroid test. FT3 is 3.22 (2.57-4.43) FT4 is 1.17 (0.64-1.77) TSH is 4.24 (0.27-4.2) Anti-Tg is 41.14 (1000 (<5.61) So the TSH is just a hair too high, but the anti-TPO is off the chart. Is there a thyroid problem or not? What does this mean? I've got an appointment with an endocrinologist, but I just want to get ahead of the game.
Avatar n tn I am not a doctor, but am a well-read type 1 diabetic, so please check out any information I give you with your own physician. I did some research on foot cramps and can tell you what I have found out. I do not know your age, but cramps in the feet while sleeping at night is apparently fairly common as people grow older. It is believed that this is sometimes caused by poor circulation in the feet, and is more common in diabetics than in other people.

Avatar f tn They help prevent cramps, pregnant or not. Also, when you do get them, flex your foot. DO NOT point your toes out. Grab your foot and pull it towards you so it's like your making an L with your leg and foot. That should relieve it almost instantly.
1218873 tn?1300091216 I get a lot of feet cramps and the past couple of nights I will wake up to a cramp in the top of my left foot closer to the ankle. Hurts like hell. It wont go away for several minutesI try walking it out or rubbing it and it seems to make it worse. This has happened to me 3x already in one night. I hope it doesn't have anything to do with my heart.
