hello! I am worried with my yeast infection, It wasn't healed since I take a fluconazole once after my miscarriage and until now I have that infection... Is it possible that I will have HIV?
For yeast infections I was always given either monistat or fluconazole. A bacterial infection like BV would require metronidazole (flagyl).
No I haven't taken it yet. The thing that really bothers mme is in Texas at every appointment they check you down there so they can identify if you have a yeast infection or something else. Here in New mexico even tho I told the nurse and doc that I was feeling itchy with no discharge or odor they didn't even bother checking me. They just prescribed the medicine. I'm not even sure I actually have a yeast infection or if it's just itchy skin.
My penis glans became yellowish nearly 2 months ,I think its neither a bacterial nor a fungal infection as I had applied antibacterial creams such as kz cream fusidin cream lulifin cream and taken tablets such as azee and Fluconazole but there is no improvement I am really worried what to do
Fluconazole is an antifungal and one pill stays in the blood stream for 3 days. It is normal to take a 'loading dose' the first time which helps get a jump start on the infection. I would take it as the doctor directed.

As long as you are not pregnant, there will not be any adverse effects. I only mention pregnancy, because it was prescribed by an OBGYN. Fluconazole is generally not safe in pregnancy unless in a severe emergency.
But Propranolol and Fluconazole taken together will not interact with each other.
I'm a female and 5 days after giving oral sex to a male I came down with a sore throat and puss pockets went to dr and was put on z pack. They say to wait till the 2nd trimester to take Fluconozole 150mg. Its not safe in the 1st trimester.
It might be candida albicans. It is a yeast infection that lives in the mouth, throat, intestines and other places and can cause all sorts of problems including rashes. It is really a fungus. It is hard to treat but can be cured. Factors such as cutting out sugar, it feast on sugar, is important. Treatment usually includes antimycotics or antifungal drugs such as nystatin, fluconazole, or ketoconazole. Ask your doctor to check you for candida and see if it is the culprit.
Anytime you are on a prescription medication and you see a change or something happens, it's best to report it to your doctor so they are aware of what is happening- they will also be able to tell you if it's a side effect or something totally separate. Since fluconazole is used to treat yeast infections- it's not likely the cause, but the doctor should still know that you saw the fungal infection return, despite being on the medication.
Sorry if this is too much tmi; currently 11wks 4dys..i went to see my OB Monday b/c i had been experiencing some discharge, after intercourse it would be swollen and seemed to be imflammaed & irratated, my OB did a pelvic exam and there was no uti, yeast infection, std, or any other type of infection..he said he looked like leukerrohea which he said was normal during pregnancy its just my body cleaning itself from all the extra estrogen and hormones that my body is producing.
As far as the possibility of a fungal infection is concerned, 2 weeks of low dose fluconazole likely would have improved it. As I said, I'm better this is hemorrhoids.
You may have an infection starting, I would certainly see your physician. Your fasting blood sugar is a wee bit high as well, 108 is considered pre-diabetes, normal is below 100. Therefore, these issues may be caused by unstable blood sugar. Ask for an A1C test, this will tell what has been going on with your blood sugars for the last 3 months.
Try to avoid all sugars and alcohol to start with until you can see your GP. Drink plenty of pure water as well.
A month ago I self diagnosed and treated a yeast infection based on my previous yeast infection (diagnosed by a doctor a few years ago). I treated with Monistat (miconazole)cream, which mostly cleared up my symptoms. I still felt somewhat irritated down there so I went to the doctor. She took a swab sample that came back negative for yeast/bacteria/gonorrhea/chlamydia.I felt fine for 2 weeks, then felt intense burning during intercourse . A few days after that, the itch was back.
Fluconazole does work on yeast infections as it is an antifungal. Clindamycin is different and is an antibiotic. It fights bacteria, not yeast or fungus. Clindamycin can create a situation in which you get a yeast infection. It's not used to treat a yeast infection but fluconazole is.
