There are no known interactions between fluconazole and propranolol, so you can safely take them together.

Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.
Fluconazole is an antifungal and one pill stays in the blood stream for 3 days. It is normal to take a 'loading dose' the first time which helps get a jump start on the infection. I would take it as the doctor directed.

A month ago I self diagnosed and treated a yeast infection based on my previous yeast infection (diagnosed by a doctor a few years ago). I treated with Monistat (miconazole)cream, which mostly cleared up my symptoms. I still felt somewhat irritated down there so I went to the doctor. She took a swab sample that came back negative for yeast/bacteria/gonorrhea/chlamydia.I felt fine for 2 weeks, then felt intense burning during intercourse . A few days after that, the itch was back.
It is not killing probiotic cultures in your bowels. And 6 weeks is not really longterm, especially since fluconazole is not an antibiotic, but an antifungal. Candida is a mean one, and hard to get rid of. But Candida hates a balanced diet with lots of beans, veggies, wholemeal, yoghurt and fruits. Reduce your meat and sugar intake to aid the meds to kill it off. Good luck!
About 2-3 days ago, I started having painful urination. Also, it's been about 8-9 days since I've been able to poop and it's painful when I try. I recently just tried an enema for my problem, and it's helped very little and causing burning when it leaves my body. Whenever I wipe, there is usually a little bit of blood, almost to none. Also, when I wipe, it feels like my anus is tearing to my vagina.
Apparently I can consistently getting yeast infections due to hormonam imbalance. I'm afraid to overdose on the fluconazole. Is there a natural way of getting rid of it? I'm thinking cranberry juice but should I drink it once in a while or is there another alternative. Because I have to avoid sugar in order to fix my hormonal imbalance.
I have had rashes and dark skin on and around scrotum and inner thigh for last 5-6 years. In the beginning rashes and small cuts used to appear between inner thighs and they would heal themselves but they left dark and loose skin when they disappeared. But for last 2-3 months these rashes and cuts started appearing again in ferocious way and these have extended on testicle skins too. When they appear it itches too much results in small cuts with small blood. i m very depressed.
oh and the doctor gave me medicine for thrush anyway (two 100 mg fluconazole pills one to take that day and one for 2 days later) and it didnt go away so it must not be thrush
Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
Was anyone prescribe this by their doctor them made it to the Pharmacy and was told you couldn't take it bc you're pregnant ??
Ask for the fluconazole tablet from your doctor. It'll treat your yeast infection better and faster than Monistat and is far more convenient since it's a single pill you only have to take once.
Honestly, yeast isn't the only thing that can cause the same symptoms of a yeast infection, so I'd go to your ob and request a culture to make sure you're not working with a bacterial infection or anything more sinister...
I've taken Clindamycin and fluconazole to kill a yeast infection. But now my doctor tells me I might possibly get it back because antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I'm not even sure...
Based off the symptoms I was having they told me that I had a yeast infection-(I had one about three months ago). They prescribed me fluconazole. I took it and felt better, but went back into my gynecologist for a follow up on Thursday(my symptoms were almost completely gone at this point.) Got time for myself and visit a urologist today - he recommended a circumcision. prescribed two tablets - fluconazole and cefuroxime axetil.
Please suggest if circumcision is the only way out? cant this be cured? I hate hospitals and the hospitalizations.
They appear like round , inflammed regions on the skin. They itch a lot, and when I scratch them, small white scabs appear like dead skin. I have uploaded an image. I have been on an antifungal treatment for two months, but it was of noo benefit. Any help would be appreciated.

It spread rapidly from my torso to my arms and legs, and my neck. I went to see a doctor, who prescribed Fluconazole (150mg, 1 capsule a week for 4 weeks). After a few days the lesions on my stomach began to fade, so I felt I was getting better. I have just taken my third Fluconazole pill. The bad news is that although some parts of my body are definitely better, new ringworm has appeared on my face in the last few days.

I eat mostly fruit, fiber vegatbles, and dairy product such as yogurt to help me with my constipation problems. I also avoid bloating related foods such as beans and caffeine. Bloating could be related to constipation, but every since I changed by diet to high fiber, my bloating and hard stomach has not gone away at all. After I eat, my stomach hurts and extends. Even when I don;t eat, my bloating stomach sticks out and looks preganant, which I am not.
Hello ladies I look the pill Fluconazole because I think I have a yeast infection my OB gave me two Fluconazole pills last month but I only need one and I just took the other one today. Now I'm scared because I don't know if I could take this pill this late in my pregnancy I'm 39 week now. Have anyone ever took this pill after 35 weeks?
If I use anti fungal powders, the itching decreases. I have visited doctors multiple times, but the medicines- FLuconazole and Miconazole based creams and tablets have not given me any relief. I tried Betnovet-M, but it gives relief for a very short period. Clotrimazole based powders relive the itching but not the clotrimazole based creams. I have tried not using soaps, but it did not help.
Later she told me that she has got an sti and her gynac has prescribed a dose of fluconazole and anti fungal steroid cream and has asked me to do the same. I did as she prescribed and after that started applying coconut oil on my glans and penile head. Later after some time i started observing little red nerves kind of things appearing during masturbation with little bumps. Can someone please diagnose this problem.
