diflucan

Avatar m tn I am not really familier with Zolax, but does it contain alprazolam? I agree that you need to discuss this with your doctor to make sure you are taking it the correct way. As with any benzo, you can become dependent on it after long term use and it should not be stopped without tapering.
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.
Avatar m tn Hello, Leucopenia and thrombocytopenia are side effects of fluconazole. Since you have recently stopped taking the medicine, the petechiael rash should disappear in a few days. If the symptoms persist or worsen you should get it evaluated from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor.
Avatar n tn Are there any known side effects for Shen Calmer and Liver Happy Capsules? My dog has been taking them for about a week now. He is taking them for anxiety, no signs of relief yet, but no prescriptions have helped him so this is our last resort. The second day he vomited and the vet said she hadn't ever seen that so we have kept going.
Avatar f tn Yeah I am taking it. I think it just causes birth defects. And a yeast infection is worse then taking the pill.
Avatar f tn The most common side effects are hot flashes and vaginal discharge. Some women experience irregular menstrual periods, headaches, fatigue, nausea and/or vomiting, vaginal dryness or itching, irritation of the skin around the vagina, and skin rash. As with menopause, not all women who take tamoxifen have these symptoms. Men who take tamoxifen may experience headaches, nausea and/or vomiting, skin rash, impotence, or a decrease in sexual interest.
Avatar n tn ve tried to better my diet and when doing a bit of research, found that one of the side effects of taking fluconazole was hair loss. I've immediately stop taking this and want to know if my hairloss situation should get better. I was taking this medication for a nail fungus I had, it's already gone. I was going to take my last dose in two days, but don't think it will make a difference if I stop taking it now. I really just want to know if my hair will grow back.
Avatar f tn Anytime you are on a prescription medication and you see a change or something happens, it's best to report it to your doctor so they are aware of what is happening- they will also be able to tell you if it's a side effect or something totally separate. Since fluconazole is used to treat yeast infections- it's not likely the cause, but the doctor should still know that you saw the fungal infection return, despite being on the medication.
1054108 tn?1314298660 I always check with him/her. It is their job to know any and all possible side effects or problems for a pregnant/nursing mom. Hope you feel better soon and congrats on your pregnancy.
5268376 tn?1406179712 I looked at Zithromax side effects, they vary by the dosage, single or multiple doses, doses in combination with another drug, and are listed as pre-marketing trials and post-marketing reports. Rhythm issues were reported less than 1% of the time in pre-marketing trials, and also in post-marketing reports. Post marketing reports are apparently voluntary and often include things clearly not related to the drug.
Avatar m tn From what I understand, the medication can cause some discomfort and itching as it works to rid the body of the yeast- however, I would call your doctor to let them know about the side effect so they can address it and note it as needed.
Avatar f tn Have any of you ladies taken a single dose of fluconazole 150 mg during pregnancy?
Avatar f tn Based off the symptoms I was having they told me that I had a yeast infection-(I had one about three months ago). They prescribed me fluconazole. I took it and felt better, but went back into my gynecologist for a follow up on Thursday(my symptoms were almost completely gone at this point.) They took a swab and said it the results said no it wasn’t a yeast infection, but she said yes she was sure I had had one. I took she told me to take the second dose of fluconazole, which I did that day.
Avatar m tn A month ago I self diagnosed and treated a yeast infection based on my previous yeast infection (diagnosed by a doctor a few years ago). I treated with Monistat (miconazole)cream, which mostly cleared up my symptoms. I still felt somewhat irritated down there so I went to the doctor. She took a swab sample that came back negative for yeast/bacteria/gonorrhea/chlamydia.I felt fine for 2 weeks, then felt intense burning during intercourse . A few days after that, the itch was back.
Avatar f tn I also have a slight vaginal discharge and this is not all the time either, The discharge is white with no foul odor. When I first went to the clinic they told me that it most likely was a Yeast infection or Vaginitis. I was prescribed a Fluconazole tablet 150 mg to clear this out. On top of that I was also tested for CHlamydia and Gonorrhea eventhough the doctor told me that this was not an STD. The testes came back negative.
Avatar n tn m noticing that some of the warts are bleeding more and I seem to be getting some yellow discharge. I read something about yellow discharge being a possible sign of infection. I see the doctor again on wed the 8th. Is there any reason why I shouldn't wait to ask about it until my next appointment? It's probably not unusual, but eh, I just figured I should ask. just in case lol Thanks!
Avatar f tn I am a 19 year old woman. Around the week of August 16th -22, 2009, i started noticing I was having more vaginal discharge that usual. I didn't think anything of it right away, thinking that it could be because I'm period was coming, I was ovulating, or because I hadn't seen or slept with my boyfriend in over a month. Several weeks later, i finally got to see my boy friend again and we had unprotected sex (during my period).
Avatar f tn Two years ago I developed a UTI. In January to be exact. I was prescribed Bactrim and fluconazole in case yeast infection was to arise. I do not know how long it took for symptoms to arise after taking this medication, because I was unaware any side effects could ever effect me, and also... I'm not really the one to... pin point the how and why? well until now. Some time ... hours, minutes , days after the oral dose of Bactrim I did develop a yeast infection.
Avatar f tn I have a yeast infection (though it is hardly bothersome at all.. was found during my annual) and my dr (who is new and i do not normally see) prescribed me diflucan for 12 weeks, one pill, once a week. I have never heard of this or treated a yeast infection with diflucan like this before and am starting to think this doctor I saw was a quack/slave to drug company kind of doctor. Has anyone ever been prescribed diflucan this way?
Avatar f tn Fall of last year I switched from the birth control pill to the Depo shot in hopes of eliminating side effects. Initially I had no issues with the shot, but in November I became very ill, caught the flu, and my health plummeted. I was sick until February. I lost 10 pounds, was so tired I could hardly function, and on top of everything I ended up with BV.
Avatar f tn How long does the yeast infection medicine fluconazole take to take affect? I took it wednesday and still having the white discharge and smell?
