82861 tn?1333453911 Well, this one appears to be a flop. LOL! Is there nobody who can actually recommend their own vet out there?
20893158 tn?1579358911 s wise to alternate activities at least some, and getting some resistance training in as well and flexibility training can at least potentially reduce the costs of running. Peace.
Avatar n tn I just got into weight training but I dint know how to eat right. Can someone please guide me and show me a plan for teens or something.HELP.
Avatar m tn they said they would just keep an eye on him unless he was presenting problems. He has other health issues such as asthma and has had to have sinus surgery this summer. In June of this summer he was completely potty trained having very minimal accidents. Since then he has been doing great until about a month ago. He started having a lot of accidents and it has since gotten so bad he is back in diapers. Has anyone had an experience similar to this?

Avatar m tn I still suffer from excruciating cramp in my feet. Over the last 2 years I have built up the muscles in my feet and have increased flexibility with daily stretches and exercises but still suffer from painful cramp in my arches and toes. It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
Avatar f tn Use the workouts that make use of flexibility and stretching, strength training and aerobics for the best results. Fitting in regular sessions of weightlifting, calisthenics or other strength activities can help increase muscle mass and keep the body toned and strong. Aerobics will help with burning calories, endurance and weight management, and stretching helps prevent injuries and prepare the body for more intense movements.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
1047946 tn?1332608029 What other organization would let a their starting quarterback show up the day before training camp and step in like nothing happened? And even more importantly what kind of professional QB would do that to their team? I use to respect Favre until he started thinking he was God and could do anything he wanted without it affecting the team he is playing for. Green Bay finally had enough and told him sorry, time to move on.
Avatar m tn I remember that once I had a sprain in the cervicals that was accompanied with a slight hernia in the opposite side at the same level of the heart! In other words when you experience an isolated pull in some section of tour body normally comes with some dysfunction in other parts of your body. This are likely to be temporary though. My recommendation is: Stretch. Lie down on the floor and bring both knees to tour chest and breath. Second stretch.
Avatar m tn In the last 5 years I have realized that I get lower back, hip and leg pain. But here is the funny part...It only happens if I have gone without a workout for a week or two. Initially I thought it's not so bad, because it forced me to get back in the gym if I have been lazy for a while. But recently the amount of "off time" required to bring on the pain is decreasing. It's getting to the point that I literally cannot miss a single training session.
Avatar f tn One way to work on the dynamic flexibility of the anterior shin is to subject it to exaggerated stress, in a controlled way, such as walking on the heels. If the muscle is regularly subject to an even greater dynamic, eccentric contraction than during the intended exercise, it will become more capable of handling the ordinary amount of stress.
Avatar m tn pt did evaluation and said he has two postions on lower pack where the five nerves are not moving property down the leg....my son has little to no flexibility in his hips/legs and is suffering spasms and pin needle pain/ numbness in legs and all threw back...this has not been diagnosed by a doc just the pt and he is telling me after a month of therapy is he still having pain maybehe will need more extensive xrays...doesnt the doc give the pt instructions...
Avatar f tn I am also in Houston Texas. I had my decompression surgery 3 months ago and although my neurosurgeon has great credentials I do wish I went with a specialist. Definitely do not settle for just anyone and if you so happen to find one within Houston please let me know. I'm currently trying to find one as well.
Avatar f tn About six weeks ago, I began to notice a dull ache in my left hip, anteriorly. I continued to exercise because the pain went away after I warmed up. (I am 29 and exercise routinely with HIIT and strength training.). I have never had hip pain before, but I have had aches like this that have improved with rest and gradual return to my exercise routine. I exercised fine for about two weeks with that dull, intermittent pain in my hip. But for about a month now, my hip pain has become very severe.
Avatar n tn Does anyone know of gentle exercises to get my stamina up? I have bad knees, and rheumatoid arthritis in my back so I'm not super flexible. Want to get extra weight off to help improve health...
Avatar n tn Stretching the front and back or your leg to increase the flexibility in your knee. Perform stretching exercises at the end of your workout when your muscles are warm. Stretch the front of your leg in a standing position by bending your knee and raising your foot up toward your backside. Grasp the ankle with your hand to enhance the stretch. Stretch the back of your legs in a seated position with your legs extended on the floor. Fold forward over your straight legs to stretch your hamstrings.
Avatar f tn Hi does anyone know of a weight loss clinic in Houston that will prescribe phentermine. I am 5'3 and i have recently gained 10 lbs and now I weigh 143 lbs..I went to a weight loss clinic that I went to a couple of years ago to lose wight, but they will not prescrie it to me, the say that I am not overweight enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar n tn It tests your physical endurance for sure. Basically you do extreme flexibility and strength poses in a blaring hot room that is hotter than a sauna. Supposedly really healthy for you. But people who cannot endure it physically end up puking sometimes. Also, always do some cardio with strength training. Are you in any sports? Could be could to balance it out. You need to learn the dangers of dehydration. If you work out a lot, you can't just drink plain water.
1697806 tn?1339083319 ll get the best results from your workout by either training the whole body in a single workout or concentrating only on the upper body in one session and the lower body in another. There are advantages to each setup, but both are better than trying to iso- late one muscle group in a single session. Concentrate on lifts that involve lots of muscles at once, such as squats, deadlifts, presses, rows, and pullups. STRETCH EAT REGULARLY You should be wolfing down five to six small meals a day.
Avatar f tn Hey Miranda! I live in Argentina, I moved here 9 months ago fro Houston, Texas where I have been having all sorts of weird symptoms (dizzyness, confusion, headaches, eye pain, headaches, visual disturbances, back pain, etc..... and the list goes on). I feel better now but anyway I have been to neurologists in the USa and Argentina and EVERYTHING comes back normal (the results of different tests, I mean). Here in Buenos Aires I asked the neuro to test me for Lyme.
