Avatar f tn I'm 19+ 3 today and my mom started planning last week, the shower will be held in June. I don't think theres a 'right' or a 'wrong' time to do it, but you don't want to do it too early because you never know what's going to happen.
Avatar m tn I still suffer from excruciating cramp in my feet. Over the last 2 years I have built up the muscles in my feet and have increased flexibility with daily stretches and exercises but still suffer from painful cramp in my arches and toes. It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
Avatar f tn I'm due Jan 5, and I plan on staying until Dec 23rd. My winter break starts, so it's a natural break. I hope I make it until then!
Avatar n tn My 80 year old mother had TKR surgery last week. She says when she stands or sits for any length of time, her foot hurts and she must lay down to relieve the pain. The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on. Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.
Avatar m tn There was no need for any chemo or radiation since the tumor was well encapsulated. He engaged in all follow up tests and recent routine tests were all normal except his abdominal CT Scan showed some swelling in his bladder lining. All urine tests were normal - no signs of blood or infection...no sense of urgency to urinate or anything else unusual.
Avatar f tn I plan on having my baby shower in February. The beginning of February, when should I had out invites? I don't want it to be to early but I don't want to procrastinate on letting people know in. Timely manner.... What should I do?

Avatar m tn s, have a job that I was able to do without much physical exertion and I have been employed here for over 30 years which gave me a lot of flexibility in my time off - if I needed a day here and there. A lot of people work through treatment and some can't. If you're the type of person that is driven and determined to go to work; I suspect you will accomplish it.
Avatar m tn Hi Brad, I agree with nickppatel re the leg activity in water polo. I played water polo for 6 years in my late teens to early twenties (then joined the military) and I have a full understanding on the amount of leg work required just to play water polo, let alone being the goalie.
Avatar f tn Planning my baby shower I wanna know what colors go good together for a boy
Avatar m tn You can look them up in the phone book and call asking if they specialize in sensory. Many insurances cover it. Motor planning can make fine and gross motor actitivities difficult. Kids with sensory will often avoid things that challenge them. Really every thing you list could be sensory related. I do not know if she has it, obviously------- but after occupational therapy, my son is doing extremely well.
Avatar f tn I have a problem with chronic pain in my left shin and have had bouts with plantar fastitis. Suddenly by shoe inserts to support my high arches feel awful. What are the right exercises and what else can I do?
700000 tn?1231287536 The only problem I have is that it is kind of a bummer in that without the flexibility in my wrist, some of my basketball and martial arts activities that I participate in currently are limited. I still live a normal life as an engineer and go to the gym 5 - 6 times per week and never feel any pain except on REALLY cold days. I recently landscaped my backyard with no problems. As far as flexibility, I was barely able to do a flat handed push up 3 years ago. I am 30 years old currently.
Avatar f tn My daughter is 25 now, and 5 years ago she broke her femur and had a titanium rod put in her leg. She's doing fine, and now she's taking tae kwando classes. She is not sure, however, if she should push herself to do kicks, etc., or to be careful not to put too much strain on her hip. She's not sure if she can increase her flexibility by pushing herself, or if she could do herself harm. How can she tell what could be helpful as opposed to what might to damage?
Avatar m tn I had surgery over 10 months ago for a lateral meniscus tear in my knee. This is the second surgery I have had on this same knee. The previous surgery I had a medial meniscus tear about 5 years ago. I am very active and cycle about 5 hours a week and about 5 hours a week of more weight bearing exercise. I have not been able to regain full flexibility to the knee, I am lacking 10 degrees of motion. I ice my knee most every day after exercising.
Avatar n tn I think it's carpel tunnel I had the same feeling in my hand it was more my middle index & thumb that were effected

Avatar m tn I am a distance runner that had a left side inguinal surgery last April. After a two month recovery, I started running again. I've never really run correctly in the past year. Working with a chiropractor, I got a hip flexor malady adjusted; the PT said I needed to work on flexibility. My left leg kind of 'hangs/float' and doesn't extend out normally. I feel it even when I'm walking. The odd part is that I can't really self-correct it with mental striving.
