No it sounds like you are either have a bad side effect from gabapentin or are allergic to it. I took 1200mg a day for several months and had no side effects other than being tired and memory problems. I haven't taken baclofen, so i don't know the side effect of that drug. Usually, muscle relaxers don't give you that bad of a headache. You may want to try Flexeril or another muscle relaxer.
I have been doing warm pool therapy and exercises to strengthen my core, and am certainly doing a lot better. Enough to try getting off the 20 mg flexeril at night, but have been having side effects from this.
So today my Celexa dose was upped from half a pill to 1 whole pill and the side effects are coming back like when I first started... Sweaty, can't sleep, headache, stiff neck, clenching teeth... Etc. I don't know what to do. I tried taking stuff for it, including an Oxy but still no change. What can I take to make these side effects not so bad? I don't see the dr till Thursday, so I can't ask her... If anyone has any suggestions?
I been taking flexeril for years because of muscle pain due to Lupus and for the last 2 months have been being treated for severe indigestion as a side effect of the med Verapimil. I was wondering if the flexeril could relax the sphincter muscle that is involved in GERD? Please give me any ideas or info you might have regarding if the flexeril would be contraindicated due to the GERD situation? Thanks, God bless!
Not sure you're right about taking two or more of these can cause it. Two of the drugs affect serotonin, but only trazadone does this primarily. However, any of these drugs by themselves (not including melatonin, which is not a drug and is one of the safest supplements ever studied) could cause all of your side effects and the combination wouldn't be appealing to me.
I suffer from almost daily migrianes, constant muscle contraction headaches in my scalp, and chronic tension headaches in base of skull and neck/shoulders. Iv tried preventatives that did nothing but bad side effects. Along with all sorts of pain meds. I currentlly take ibuprofen almost daily as relpax for my migrianes when needed one with a shot of sumatriptan (immetrex) injected in my leg when the relpax fails to work.
Flexeril is a muscle relaxant. Sweetie, I would ask your doctor about something like that before taking anything. You never know if you will have a reaction to a medication and if it was not prescribed to you and you received it from someone else that person could potentially be in trouble with the law. I do not believe Flexeril is addictive. But, please call your doctor instead.

yes, it is Trileptal. Side effects I have had recently are neutremia, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, headache....seeing my psych doc next week. I am very disappointed that she did not catch this. I will slowly reducing my dose (I'm at 1800 mg now) in order to go off this drug, AND, I will never go back to this psych doc again.
I had many side effects. Headaches, severe heartburn accompanied with hiccups. Blisters and discoloration all over my tongue and back of my throat. By day 6 my feet and ankles were badly swollen and it was getting difficult to swallow. My doc said I was having a systemic reaction and to quit immediately. We are going to try Subutex now and I hope it works.
On all the info I found, the only side effect I had that was listed was headache.
The side effects I had with clomid was a very mild headache, and moodiness later in my cycle. I was only on 50 mg per day for 5 days. I never really had physical pain or tiredness with clomid, but I did have the mental stuff a little bit.
With the injectibles, I had lots of physical uncomfortableness (still do !!! ) but no real mental/emotional stuff. It's sort of hard to tell if the drugs are making us crazy, or the process we're having to go through month in and month out, eh?!
sorry to hear your hubby is having a hard time. sounds like he is having some of the common side effects. There is nothing that can boost platlets but many docs let them go really low before lowering or stopping the meds. Try and get back on the full strength of interferon ASAP!
Probably the most common side effect is the itching. I have it as well and it is horrible. I have found some relief with a prescription med called Atarax.

My wife is trying to come off of Risperdal on account we would like to try to conceive . how long until the medicine is out of her system / when the side effects of coming off the drug will subside. She has been not taking for 6 days with side effects such as:
Extreme nausea
Sweats
Continuous headache
Irritability ,etc
Any help on the subject?
