Would anyone know the difference between Piriton and Fexofenadine? Which is stronger?
I've been sick off and on a lot with my sinuses my ob told me to take sudafed so I'm taking the nasal decongestant sudafed that the pharmacy said was safe. My concern is I haven't heard good things about taking it anyone else taking it and everything turned out ok with their baby? 29weeks tomorrow also.

So my Dr told me to take Sudafed for this head cold. However, they were adamant that I make sure I get the kind we have to sign for and not the OTC one. I was wondering why because I know the one we sign for has the stuff that people use to make meth but the OTC stuff does not. So what is the difference?

ve been couging up this nasty green phlegm, when I spit it out it makes me gag and sometimes vomite. My doctor said sudafed was okay but my mom said not to take it. What can I do to make this go away or has anyone or is anyone having the same problem? Is sudafed okay? HELP!
Whoa I'd avoid Sudafed. Here's what I've been told. There are two different types of Sudafed. There's the regular Sudafed and Sudafed PE. Awhile back, when it became popular to make meth put of Sudafed, the company changed their formula. The stuff you by straight off the shelf is Sudafed PE. That version can restrict the blood vessels around the placenta. The regular Sudafed, still available by going to the pharmacist's counter, does not do that.
Thank you so much for responding. Yes I do take suppressive therapy, but at times I do forget to take the pills which I know is a problem. I have some hormonal issues when I have my monthly period as well, which I know contributes to the EM. I went to the doctor today and had a well woman check up and they suggested I also go to a dermatologist. They gave me a script for Valtrex, not the generic form, to see if that may make a difference. I certainly hope so.

My doc told me I could only take Dayquil not Nyquil. But if after 4days I was still severly sick to see my normal familu doctor. I only took it for 3days and satrted to feel wayyyyy better. I did drink real ginger tea with lemon and honey twice a day which helped. It opens ur poors to release whatever it is u might have and makes u pee like crazy. .
Can I start to take Sudafed and Motrin medications for sinus headaches, when about 2 months ago I had a retinal tear, laser fix, and subsequent floaters now in both eyes?
I have always used Sudafed medications for the past 20 years, and not until I had the treat and stopped using this every week for headaches did I start to have floaters in the other, non-tear, and no surgery eye. Coincidence?

Well a few days ago I started having flu like symptoms so I look at the paper and it basically says Sudafed for colds and Tylenol for pain or fever, but no Ibuprofen. I start taking the Sudafed for a few days, doesn't really help.. Only for the body aches. Well last night I had a fever of 101.4 so I decided to go to the ER just to be safe. Turns out I don't have the flu, just a really bad viral infection. They ask me what I've been taking and I said Sudafed.
