i just want to ask if there some side effects of the medicine that i am taking, fexofenadine?? another thing is for 1 week now my hives just gone, is there a possibility it will appear again?

Here in Australia it is spring time and the pollen count is through the roof. You only need to take one Fexofenadine for the whole day, which is useful. Clarityn is another non-sedating antihistamine that you only need to take once a day.

Can you please tell me who advised you to use otrivin nasal drops for such a long time. You have developed a condition called "Rhinitis Medicamentosa". It can be treated with oral and topical steroids only, along with oral antihistaminics (such as Cetrizine/ Fexofenadine). Any more doubts you are welcome.
i have been taking fexofenadine and use triamcinolonne acetonide cream but nothing seems to help. I cant sleep or sit still. I scratch until i bleed and then the hives turn into little scabs all over my body.

What COULD be wrong? Well, lots of things, I suppose. What is MOST LIKELY wrong? Probably some inflamed/irritated nasal lining as a result of the cold and the nose blowing. When the cold resolves, this problem should to. If not, you might want to get it checked out. In the meantime, try some nasal ointment (Ayr Gel, Ocean Gel, etc.), nasal saline sprays and keep well-hydrated.
Thank you so much for responding. Yes I do take suppressive therapy, but at times I do forget to take the pills which I know is a problem. I have some hormonal issues when I have my monthly period as well, which I know contributes to the EM. I went to the doctor today and had a well woman check up and they suggested I also go to a dermatologist. They gave me a script for Valtrex, not the generic form, to see if that may make a difference. I certainly hope so.
its been so long that i have warts on my breast its become more. both on my breast near the areola. and i notice that both on my breast the warts become darker and big. Hi I have had severe Hives for 2 mos. This is the worse outbreak I've ever had, and my last case of Hives was 9 yrs ago. I was in the ER 2x this past month, put on IV steroids, antihistamines & Ranitidine. I had extensive blood work done for a multitude of alleries- all negative, Lupus, Lympoma, Lymes disease, CAT scan, all negative. I've done 2 rounds of Presnisone (which helped greatly), but 2 days after the last Prednisone pill- boom the hives came back bad.
I've been applying Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm for two months and recently the edges of my upper lip started drying out and in 2 days my entire lip was swollen, red and burning and feeling stretchy, but its not chapped but feels extremely dry. I'm a 23 year old male. Since mid July 2010 I've been having some shortness of breath and dry cough with very little mucus coming out. When the mucus comes out it's clear and in small amount. Initially this problem started after I was out with a few friends smoked hookah. The hookah pipe was dirty and I remember spitting black stuff out from the pipe and then I stopped smoking. I don't smoke normally at all and even hookah once every 3 or 4 months.
I had done mri year back and it showed infection in forehead and cyst on left side of face....i am taking nasacort and fexofenadine hcl for months and tried other antihistamine also, but the symtoms persist....i am a liver patient with conginetal hepatic fibrosis and 31 years....liver enzymes r normal....should i take antibotics if so which one and dosae and days? And what else can i do....

If you think, what you are having in your ear is fungal infection then you should stop the Ciprofloxacin ear drops first as it will worsen your condition. Take some antihistaminics (for eg. Cetrizine/Fexofenadine) and meanwhile you can try with some antifungal ear drops (like Candid ear drops) but my sincere advice is to consult an ENT surgeon, in case it happens to be a fungal infection then the debris will have to be cleaned.
