I was able to see another GP yesterday who gave me a shot of Decadron (Dexamethasone), with Fexet 60MG (Fexofenadine) twice daily, an acyfylin syrup for cough. I felt great after the shot, my hives reduced significantly ithcing was still there but not as intense. Mentally i became my old self by evening, alert otherwise i wise sleepy and lethargic the whole week. But the rashes started coming back around 1AM night, I managed to sleep by 3 AM and now woke up at 9 AM.
I had done mri year back and it showed infection in forehead and cyst on left side of face....i am taking nasacort and fexofenadine hcl for months and tried other antihistamine also, but the symtoms persist....i am a liver patient with conginetal hepatic fibrosis and 31 years....liver enzymes r normal....should i take antibotics if so which one and dosae and days? And what else can i do....
I have a really really bad problem with my skin. Whenever I go outside the sun, or the heater, in general wherever it's hot, my skin gets extremely prickly and it has many red bumps all over my body. I've tried many allergy medicines such as HYDROXYZINE HCL, DOXEPIN, FEXOFENADINE, XYZAL, ZYRTEC, but they didn't help the breakout at all. I think I'm not allergic with anything, because I already took the blood test, and everything appeared negatively.
And it will take 1 or 2 weeks time. Also they gave me the following medicine..fluocinonide Cream usp and Fexofenadine hcl 180 mg tablet. I asked them for any kind of blood or other test is required ? but still they are not sure about this red rashes..because they come and go ..I really don't know ..why suddenly decreased appetite and also some time in left leg knee joint little pain . Feeling malaise sometime..but i did not have any painful blisters ...

Doing so, helped the swelling to go away totally overnight. In Medicine, the Urologist only prescribed Fexofenadine HCL + Renitidine and said I have No infection, so no need for an antibiotic.
Next day, I got my Abdominal and Scrotal Ultrasound and the reports came 100% clear. 2 Days later, the Urologist set me CLEAR and asked me to stop elevating and the medicine too. But only after 5 hours of keeping the Penis and Scrotum in Normal position, the Swelling appeared again, just like on Day-1.
Would anyone know the difference between Piriton and Fexofenadine? Which is stronger?
After lengthy discussion, they decided to put me on prednisone 20mg 2x day for one week then 2x day for another week as well as fexofenadine 60mg 2x day for 30 days. After being on these medications for a week, I have MAJOR improvement. Spots are fading and I'm not itching as badly as I was. Now, I am just trying to figure out what to put on them once they start drying up and the dry skin itches. Thanks for everything!
I have been taking the Proton Pump Inhibitor Drug Lansoprazole for my Hiatus Hernia/Acid Reflux for roughly 3 years now. I started with 30mg per day and the past year I had to up my dose to 60mg per day due to my severe acid reflux.
For the past 12 months I have been experiencing what can only be described as Fatigue, brain fog and exhaustion. It is the type that isn't helped by sleep, rest, or even suggested by my doctor, excercise. Infact the latter only makes it 10x worse.
What is better for allergies allegra or claritin? Whats stronger Loratadine or Fexofenadine?
Yes I have tried both claritin and benadryl and prescribe medicines(hydroxyz hcl 50 mg & fexofenadine 180) and all I do is sleep. I see my life passing because I can not function this way. Very depressing. Condition seem to be getting worse so I called Dr. to ask what to do, never received a return call. That is the reason that I am so upset. I seem to be caught by a dr. whose does not care or does not know what to do and I have no idea of what to do.
Thank you so much for responding. Yes I do take suppressive therapy, but at times I do forget to take the pills which I know is a problem. I have some hormonal issues when I have my monthly period as well, which I know contributes to the EM. I went to the doctor today and had a well woman check up and they suggested I also go to a dermatologist. They gave me a script for Valtrex, not the generic form, to see if that may make a difference. I certainly hope so.

The Symptoms for the over production of HCL, and the under production of HCL, are virtually identical. The both cause Reflux, Belching, Bloating, Abdominal Discomfort, Irrecular Stools, etc. Unfortunately many doctors are prescribing Proton Pump Inhibitors or pH Blocking Medications to their Patiens which is making them Achlorhydric.
Apple cider vinegar is a way to cleanse the body and balance acid and alkaline, but it doesn't increase stomach acid on a permanent basis. Betaine HCL is used for gallstones, not for stomach acidity, since it doesn't do that either. The reason is that neither stays in the stomach, so it can't permanently alter the acid/alkaline balance. The caution about HCL is more about using pure HCL food grade.
