I also have taken Deltasone (Prednisone) (1+0+0) for one week at this month. Is the medication alright? Is there any way to cure fully? Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Avatar n tn I have a really really bad problem with my skin. Whenever I go outside the sun, or the heater, in general wherever it's hot, my skin gets extremely prickly and it has many red bumps all over my body. I've tried many allergy medicines such as HYDROXYZINE HCL, DOXEPIN, FEXOFENADINE, XYZAL, ZYRTEC, but they didn't help the breakout at all. I think I'm not allergic with anything, because I already took the blood test, and everything appeared negatively.
Avatar m tn I took Tramadol HCL 50mg twice and in 2 days and i have developed side effects i.e Hives on palms and soles which burn and itch. Also G.I problems. shortness of breath, tightness of chest with severe cough after every meals. I was given Zyrtec and Rigix but not much success. I am into the 7th day now and the effects are stil there. Please help and suggest how to counteract , I've read Dexamethasone or Naloxone counteract Tramadol. Please suggest what to do.
228686 tn?1211554707 I've been to a doctor a few times about this but got fed up with all the silliness of what seemed like "shooting in the dark" with medications. I sleep about 2-4 hours a night average which doesn't seem to be a big issue, I rarely feel tired (although it does drive my wife insane). I do suffer bouts of insomnia which by the second/third day do leave me feeling somewhat dragged and tired.
168348 tn?1379357075 Thank you so much. A little history if I may, please .... Last summer I underwent an upper endoscopy, multiple biopsies, x-ray with barium, esophageal manometry, and was also prescribed Aciphex and then Nexium. The G.I. who presumed that I 'had difficulty swallowing' even after I insisted that I just keep 'spitting' finally determined that "your evaluation has been completly negative".
Avatar f tn Yes I have tried both claritin and benadryl and prescribe medicines(hydroxyz hcl 50 mg & fexofenadine 180) and all I do is sleep. I see my life passing because I can not function this way. Very depressing. Condition seem to be getting worse so I called Dr. to ask what to do, never received a return call. That is the reason that I am so upset. I seem to be caught by a dr. whose does not care or does not know what to do and I have no idea of what to do.
Avatar n tn Hi I have had severe Hives for 2 mos. This is the worse outbreak I've ever had, and my last case of Hives was 9 yrs ago. I was in the ER 2x this past month, put on IV steroids, antihistamines & Ranitidine. I had extensive blood work done for a multitude of alleries- all negative, Lupus, Lympoma, Lymes disease, CAT scan, all negative. I've done 2 rounds of Presnisone (which helped greatly), but 2 days after the last Prednisone pill- boom the hives came back bad.

Avatar n tn Doing so, helped the swelling to go away totally overnight. In Medicine, the Urologist only prescribed Fexofenadine HCL + Renitidine and said I have No infection, so no need for an antibiotic. Next day, I got my Abdominal and Scrotal Ultrasound and the reports came 100% clear. 2 Days later, the Urologist set me CLEAR and asked me to stop elevating and the medicine too. But only after 5 hours of keeping the Penis and Scrotum in Normal position, the Swelling appeared again, just like on Day-1.
Avatar f tn I woke up Tuesday morning with my head spinning, very dizzy. I took my BP and it was 180/111 pulse 55. This whole week it has stayed between 160/100 to higher and the pulse lower than I have ever had. I went to the doctor, could not see my regular doc but saw the one handling urgent care Thursday. My left leg has been very painful for several months, worse behind the knee. She x-rayed my knee and saw arthritis , which I knew was there. I have arthritis both kinds.
Avatar m tn Would anyone know the difference between Piriton and Fexofenadine? Which is stronger?

Avatar m tn 1 per day for 10 days) -- Tramsome cream (apply 3 times a day) Id really appreciate your advice on what I should do, I have now been taking the Canditral tablets for around a month and am concerned about taking for a long period of time and the side-effects, also with 2 different prescriptions from the doctor I am unsure what to do or how much there advice is based on knowledge and experience, as they said themselves (the doctors) they are not specialists/dermatologists.
Avatar n tn I am 83 and recently when I wake up in the morning my BP is elevated, around 175 or 180 over 85. I take a clonidine hcl .01mg and it brings it down to normal. I take my BP at 10 each evening and it is around 112/65. What causes this elevation during sleep. Thanks.
Avatar m tn Thank you so much for responding. Yes I do take suppressive therapy, but at times I do forget to take the pills which I know is a problem. I have some hormonal issues when I have my monthly period as well, which I know contributes to the EM. I went to the doctor today and had a well woman check up and they suggested I also go to a dermatologist. They gave me a script for Valtrex, not the generic form, to see if that may make a difference. I certainly hope so.
Avatar n tn 120mg) to have for one month. My course ends round about 25 september 2011. My nose blockage is getting better (one nasal passage is open most of the time) but I have also developed slight phelgm in my throat (i.e throat mucus). Should I be concerned and what should I do ???
Avatar m tn The Symptoms for the over production of HCL, and the under production of HCL, are virtually identical. The both cause Reflux, Belching, Bloating, Abdominal Discomfort, Irrecular Stools, etc. Unfortunately many doctors are prescribing Proton Pump Inhibitors or pH Blocking Medications to their Patiens which is making them Achlorhydric.
Avatar n tn I tested positive but I am allergic to Fluoxetine Hcl, Diphenhydramine Hcl, Doxycycline, Venlafaxine Hydrochloride, Fluoxetine, Azithromycin and Amoxicillin-Pot Clavulanate. What antibiotic can I take to treat this? Amoxicillin?
Avatar n tn Apple cider vinegar is a way to cleanse the body and balance acid and alkaline, but it doesn't increase stomach acid on a permanent basis. Betaine HCL is used for gallstones, not for stomach acidity, since it doesn't do that either. The reason is that neither stays in the stomach, so it can't permanently alter the acid/alkaline balance. The caution about HCL is more about using pure HCL food grade.
