I have severe allergies to the point that I have to take a decongestant regularly. Over trhe past few years I've developed some problems and just now am thinking they may be linked to my constant use of decongestants. Chest pain, headache, cold/numb feet and hands, stinging/pins & needles in both feet, pounding heart, anxiety, irratability, fever and several others but those are the worse.

Thank you so much for responding. Yes I do take suppressive therapy, but at times I do forget to take the pills which I know is a problem. I have some hormonal issues when I have my monthly period as well, which I know contributes to the EM. I went to the doctor today and had a well woman check up and they suggested I also go to a dermatologist. They gave me a script for Valtrex, not the generic form, to see if that may make a difference. I certainly hope so.

I am 22 and pregnant with my decongestant baby. When I was pregnant with my, now 7 month old, son I had little to no morning sickness. Now 7 weeks into my pregnancy and I have morning sickness a lot. And it definitely doesn't matter the time of day. It especially comes after a nap. Is that common, to have such a difference is morning sickness from my first pregnancy?
Here in Australia it is spring time and the pollen count is through the roof. As a result I am suffering from hayfever/asthma and typically do each year from 20 October to 20 November and pretty much to those dates. At 34/63 weeks on tx it certainly is adding an extra dimension to my sx's but still upright. I have found it necessary to take 180mg of 'fexofenadine hydrochloride' an anti-hystermine I guess.
My doc said Robutussin. Or if you don't like that she said anything as long as there's no decongestant in it. She said the decongestant is what's dangerous. And lots of water of course. Get better soon!
I take the generic brand of Claritan, without the D or decongestant, and saline drops for my nose. I hate cough drops, but it helped soothe the sore throat and gargling with salt water helps.
I am on medication Monteluckast-10mg once daily, Fexofenadine-180mg once daily, Budamate rotacaps-400mg twice daily and Nasal Spray- Azelastine and FLuticasone. I have chest pain in the right side of my chest, it is like piercing something from inside and tightness in the upper part of the chest.

1. Increased vascularity is noted in the left parahilarand right paracardiac area.

I actually get that sometimes ... in my case I think it's sinus pressure causing it but not pain .. inmflammation around the eye. But I'm not a doctor. My Doctor suggested a decongestant which helps a lot as well as o-t-c antihistamine eye drops which used along with a preservative eye drop to add moisture back in helps a lot.
Maybe your doctor will let you try something like GenTeal eye drops to help moisturize them and see if that helps alone ..
The GP says that stress has caused these hives and so I have been prescribed some antihistamines (fexofenadine) which did not work that well.
i have been taking fexofenadine and use triamcinolonne acetonide cream but nothing seems to help. I cant sleep or sit still. I scratch until i bleed and then the hives turn into little scabs all over my body.

However, being on the nasal decongestant spray (sold over the counter) Rite-Aid brand with the active ingredient oxymetazoline hydrochloride for over 2 weeks prior to the testing. i am suffering from post nasal drip for the past 2 Years. Frist I didn't know about the symptoms. I felt sore throat as well bad breath. This makes me not to speak with my friends also. So I went to a dentist for cleaning my teeth. He cleaned my teeth. He said to see an ENT specialist , if the bad breath continues. After a day, I felt the same. So I went to the ENT specialist. He prescribed some medicines and decongestant solution. But they didn't work it out.
t be surprised if nothing is found. You may have a sinus problem. Try taking a simple decongestant that you can buy over the counter. See whether that has a positive effect.

BUT my condition of insect bite is not improve .
Swelling of an eyelid that lasts 2-3 years needs to be evaluated to see if there is tumor or lesions in lid.
