Avatar m tn Would anyone know the difference between Piriton and Fexofenadine? Which is stronger?
1916673 tn?1420233270 ll find lots of info about it. Be aware that like most antiemetics and antacids, not all meds work on all dogs, so once you have found something that works its worth sticking with it. Zofran tends to be reasonably priced, so it may be worth giving it a try from that point of view.

Avatar m tn Thank you so much for responding. Yes I do take suppressive therapy, but at times I do forget to take the pills which I know is a problem. I have some hormonal issues when I have my monthly period as well, which I know contributes to the EM. I went to the doctor today and had a well woman check up and they suggested I also go to a dermatologist. They gave me a script for Valtrex, not the generic form, to see if that may make a difference. I certainly hope so.
Avatar m tn Longer-acting antihistamines are available by prescription. They cause less drowsiness and can work just as well. These medications include fexofenadine (Allegra), and cetirizine (Zyrtec). You can also use nasal corticosteroid sprays like nasocort or flonase. Decongestants may also be helpful in reducing symptoms such as nasal congestion, but they should not be used for long periods. Cromolyn sodium is a nasal spray (Nasalcrom) for treating rhinitis.
Avatar m tn My doc seemed amazed that the stomach could affect the heart and didnt seem to believe the specialist. Am dazed and confused and sick of worrying about my heart. I also once had a dream in which on three different occasions my heart was torn from my body. On one instance I was a Mayan sacrifice and the other I remember took place during the second world war. I was a doctor and had been caugh and my heart cut out. I cant remember the third.
Avatar m tn As a result I am suffering from hayfever/asthma and typically do each year from 20 October to 20 November and pretty much to those dates. At 34/63 weeks on tx it certainly is adding an extra dimension to my sx's but still upright. I have found it necessary to take 180mg of 'fexofenadine hydrochloride' an anti-hystermine I guess. I'm worried that the medication and perhaps the allergy itself may affect my UND status. Any thoughts, experiences or research would be appreciated.
155701 tn?1230047101 I keep reading about how certain antacids can cause your blood pressure to go up. I have GERD and am experiencing esophagitis again, and I would like to be able to take something for it. Is Zantac75 okay to take with a beta-blocker? And will it increase my blood pressure? I can't seem to find good information anywhere on the internet or even from my endocrinologist. Please help!

Avatar m tn They took my gallbladder out the other day and found a "spot" on my liver. Biopsy isn't back yet. I had so many different symptoms it was a confusing mess!!
Avatar f tn I have scabs all over my body which are itchy. The itch is intense and even more so when I rub the skin. The skin gets red around the scabs at the end of the day. Taking a shower is an ordeal. It's really hard not to scratch and so I just rub the scabs but there's no relief. They are spreading and there's nothing working. I mean the creams against itchiness work when I apply them but the scabs are not getting less itchy nor less small afterwards.
