Any of u gorgeous sexy and beautiful plus size mama had any trouble getting a nice 3d scan?

They said the baby is fine. Placenta looks good and enough water in there still. I have to do another one in 2 days to see if it will be still be ok for the weekend. We will talk about an induction on Monday which is 14 days overdue. I did not look at the ultrasound because I still want to be surprised on the sex. At the end, she gave me a 3D Picture though of the face (maybe it was 4D). Anyhow, the picture scared me. The baby looked almost deformed.

I have 5 3D/4D pictures and I paid nothing nor did. I request them. And there is no issues no problems or nothing wit the baby or me.

hey ladies ok so i have i question im having a 2d ultrasound on friday the 25th just wondering if any of you have had any of these and are they worth the money you pay do the pictures actually come out good that you can see the face clearly? just need some help in making this decison please help...

Klipscomb, I suggest you and your doctor read the AIUM practice guiblines for OB ultrasound. Ahhhhhh, you can find it on their website. Ultrasound is a medical imaging procedure that requires a physician order and must be medically indicated. 3D ultrasound for "entertainment" purposes is not a medical indication. On the other hand, evaluating the fetal face with 3D due to suspected cleft lip is an indication.

t really tell me what could be wrong but she is referring me to maternal fetal md to get a 3d ultrasound to check everything out........... I am trying not to stress but its so hard...... its so hard not to worry about what could be wrong. ....have my regular doctors appt. Tomorrow and they will tell me when I am going to get the 3d........ prayers or insights would be appreciated. ...

it is written on the ultrasound pictures. I supposed based on the fetal size, a statistic to check if they are growing normally.

Can you believe most of us are only 10 weeks or so away from holding our babies!?? I remember us all getting our BFP's! So hubby & I moved into our new Condo almost 3 weeks ago.

I found out at 13 weeks it was a girl too with a regular appointment. All of my ultrasounds have been in 3d/4d though so I think it depends on your doctor.

it depends on the position your baby is in. I had to pay $120 for my 3d 4d ultrasound and I still didnt see the face very well because she was facing my back.

I'm 36+4 days and I wanted to take the 3D pictures of my baby. But I don't know where. Anyone?

or do you think it is worth it? I see all the little 3D pictures of babys on here and I want one SO BAD and I feel like if I dont get one I would miss out on a cool part of being pregnant. What do you ladies think?

Your better off getting a regular 2d u/s and waiting for the 3d until later on in your pregnancy, especially if you are paying for this with your own money for your own enjoyment, like I am doing.

When I was pregnant with my first the hospital gave us free 3D ultrasound pictures. We loved them. Now that we are pregnant again I sorta want to have them. Only no free ones. Wouldn't it show favoritism later on between the kids? Do for one do for all, right? Ir am I stretching? What do y'all think?

If it only does 3d4d ultrasound and not therapy ultrasound that is the concern. They passed a law in January and closed all the 3d ultrasound places in Oregon because the people doing them are not trained ultrasound techs and could cause harm to your baby... But if they are trained techs they know what they are doing and shouldn't have the machine set for theropy ultrasound just picture mode I guess.

Next 3D pictures I get I can't wait I already got great videos and pictures but is anyone else having there baby around any of them times.?

it was free! I wasnt even expecting to get the 3D/4D. I went in for my ultrasound where they found out the sex and suddenly the screen switched from the bl/white to 3D.

Im 22 weeks, and my doctor hasnt given me like any good pictures of the baby. Just pictures of his gender . And I always see everyone else with really good ones, even at early stages. Do you have to pay extra for those or ask him ? Please help, hes our first child and we want good ones to show to our families.

I'm trying to decide weather or not to get one at 28 weeks I'm only going to have a few I had one at 8 weeks and I'm not having another until 20 weeks so I kinda want to get the 3d any thoughts? I also want to buy a fetal heart monitor any one know where they have them in stores?

They were checking on my cyst and she said hmm ima try something and switched it to 3d and I got 4 pictures in 3d and 3 in just regular. It was awesome.

I was going to get but decided against it at the last minute because its like the cost of a travel system here... I heard the best time to get it done is between 25 and 30 weeks.. Here they will not do it before 20 weeks because the images wont be as good..

Sometimes in these situations babies are born with a PDA which normally closes at full term, it's a vessel that goes between the heart and lungs and in babies with heart issues, sometimes it's benefitial to keep it open a little longer and it can be done with a stent type device I think.
