1339501 tn?1285439404 I measured where I should have, at about 8 weeks now where as last week they had told me I was off on my dates by two weeks. So I thought I should post my situation for all you soon-to-be mothers who are waiting to hear the heart beat - just because you don't see it this week, don't go crazy with anxiety! They say all embryo's develop at the same rate until the second trimester, but not always or at least not in my situation . . .
Avatar n tn Exactly what the other person said. Right now, you're technically 4 weeks, but in reality, baby has only been growing for 2 weeks. Still super tiny. You won't see anything until week 7/8. I don't know why they even scheduled your first appointment that early, to be honest. If they were going off your lap, they shouldn't have made an appointment until sometime next month.
870180 tn?1269815819 first they saw ges sac and the yoldk sac at 5w5d then again at 6w6d we saw the baby and the HB at 120 measuring a week behind and then today at 8w1d two fetal poles in the same sac one hb but lower then last week and measuring two weeks behind...The sac has always measured correctly its the babies that are off...I had IVF so they seem to be very sure of the dates...but I have two doc appointments on Mon ..two different OBGYN if they all say the same ...
Avatar f tn 20 mm Fetal heart rate: 164 bpm, the other one is 33,7 X 18,4 Fetal length: 16,7 mm Yolk Sac: 5,9 mm Fetal heart rate: 166 bpm Also embryon1 age is 10w3d but embryon 2 is 9w2d. I'm very concerned. Are those differences ok? The next ultrasound is in 10 days and the wait is killing me.
Avatar f tn I went in for my check up @8 weeks 1 day based on my lmp.Doc couldn't detect my baby heart beat.My fetal pole & yolk sac are seen but the fetal pole measured at 6 Weeks 2 days. Doc suggested that it may be early pregnancy & asked to come back again in a week.I'm still having nausea, breast tenderness everyday. Anyone here have not seen the baby heart beat at 8 weeks but gotten a good news?
Avatar f tn i had my doctors appointment today the doc afformed me i was 6wks 3days today at the time of my first ultra sound i was approx 5wk 5days no heartbeat only yolk sak and development begfining so the doc said this was normal and heartbeats are usually detected in wk six or even wk seven the nurse tried to say there may only ever be a yolk sac and no bub but the doc and the lady who performed the ultrasound said no heartbeat or fetal pole can be normal at the early stage of five wks now im confused
Avatar n tn Usually the 5th week you will see the gestational sac but maybe no fetal pole. By week 6-7 you should see the fetal pole and if you're lucky a heartbeat. By week 8 you should get a heartbeat. So if you are only 5 weeks it sounds like your development is very good seeing both a fetal pole and hb. Did he mention what the heartrate was?? I am not sure what the "likely" fetal pole means because if there is a heartbeat then there is definitely a fetal pole there!!
1668617 tn?1313027715 At 8 weeks there should be a distinct fetal pole (the baby) and heartbeat.
569422 tn?1232497890 i went for an u/s at 8 weeks and they were a bit concerned that the embryo was the size of a 7 wk embryo and the sac looks a little small, but there is a heartbeat!!. the docs don't think the conception date is wrong by a week because we used insemination and they manipulated my ovulation. they told me to come back in a few weeks to do another check. any thoughts????
Avatar f tn The physiologic processes in early fetal development, such as protein activity, are temperature sensitive, and the entire fetal development process hinges on the right proteins getting turned on at the right time. If your body goes from 98.6 degrees to 103 degrees, it could keep the proteins from working properly and cause you to have a miscarriage.
159063 tn?1247272817 s what i found Heartbeats One belief that has been around for some time, and even had some acceptance in the medical community at one point, is that the fetal heartbeat differs for boys and girls. If you're having a girl, then the fetal heart rate will be above 140. A boy will have a heart rate below 140. However, that pesky science has reared its little head again to say that this is complete fiction.
Avatar f tn to see heartbeat will be at least 6 weeks or so.. sometimes can be 7 or 8 weeks... congrats.. don't worry too much.. will harm the development of the fetus...
Avatar f tn and with how much issues I have been having with my cervix I will most likely go into labor that week. I pray I make it to at least 37 weeks as I am concerned about his fetal brain and lung development, but I know that everything will happen in Gods timing.
Avatar f tn Ask about being on progesterone your levels shouldn't drop they should be rising progesterone helps with that it's good for all around fetal development and it strengthens your uterus and cervix ask about it right away to see if that is an option for you good luck mama
Avatar f tn I forget what the doctor told me but there is something very important in development around 20 weeks. They check at 20 week a to be sure it developed right. My doctor always says that the ultrasound is to make sure everything is okay not to find out what the baby is.
