Hi, I'm 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? I would really appreciate it if you can help.
Second ultrasound at 8w 6d showed gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole measuring 5 1/2 weeks, but no heartbeat.
I'm scheduled for a third ultrasound next wed, which would be 10weeks, and if there's no hb, it's over
Is this possible - to be almost 3 weeks behind? My dates can't be that far off!
Also, my doc did the 2 ultrasounds in the office, but gave me the option to have the 3rd at the hospital. Is there any benefit to that, vs having my doc do it?
If you break embryonic and fetal development into thirds then when you are in your 28th week the baby begins its final third of development. (Gestation is 266 days or 38 weeks of development). So either way you look at it you are in your 3rd trimester!
20 mm Fetal heart rate: 164 bpm, the other one is 33,7 X 18,4 Fetal length: 16,7 mm
Yolk Sac: 5,9 mm Fetal heart rate: 166 bpm
Also embryon1 age is 10w3d but embryon 2 is 9w2d. I'm very concerned. Are those differences ok?
The next ultrasound is in 10 days and the wait is killing me.

i to am right over sixteen weeks and i do feel my baby moving right at the bottom part of my stomach. it feels like a little worm wiggling about. sometimes i think i feel him kicking but that might be gas since he is really small. i have been pregnant several times before. i heared more experienced can feel their baby moving faster. i hope this kind of helps you out.
i had my doctors appointment today the doc afformed me i was 6wks 3days today at the time of my first ultra sound i was approx 5wk 5days no heartbeat only yolk sak and development begfining so the doc said this was normal and heartbeats are usually detected in wk six or even wk seven the nurse tried to say there may only ever be a yolk sac and no bub but the doc and the lady who performed the ultrasound said no heartbeat or fetal pole can be normal at the early stage of five wks now im confused
Dont' worry about the size its not way off and let baby have a chance to grow - besides our dates could be "off" up to 2weeks (don't forget ovulation and implantation time ). You saw a sac and a fetal pole and a fluttering of heartbeat - that's great news. Try to stay positive. You are experiencing pg symptoms - everyone's experience is different.
s really no way to prevent a miscarriage especially if it happens in the first 3 months they say if it happens that early there was something wrong with the baby but you could have your doctor check if your hcg levels are rising normally if not you can talk to your obgyn about being put on progesterone it helps with the fetal development it strengthens your uterus and cervix too I got put on it with this pregnancy because I miscarried twice good luck try not to stress on it it's not good for
