There is now oral Fentanyl in a dissolvable tablet called Fentora but it is indicated only for cancer pain. However, there are a few patients with chronic non-cancer pain that have been prescribed Actiq (the fentanyl lolipops) or Fentora if and only if all other treatments failed and they are experiencing intractable pain, also known as suicide pain.

Simvastatin 20 mg(1T QD), Diazepam 10 mg(1T TID), Opana ER 40 mg(1T BID), Atenolol 100 mg(1T QD), Lunesta 3 mg(1T HS), Cymbalta 60 mg(1C BID), Fentora 800 mcg(1T BID PRN), Fentanyl Citrate 1200 mcg(One lollipop QID PRN).
He was OK for a couple of months but yesterday he started acting weird again. Slurred speech(more than usual), lack of balance, forgetfulness, etc.
How can I prevent future episodes from happening? Please I need help.
Heard this on bluelight and it worked.. was as Godsend. Hope it works for you too. Do not try to go off suboxone 24mg in 6 days tho! must taper using strips by cutting them down to small slivers then after staying on that for a week or two, jump .. but take small amounts if w/d's are too much.. use gabapentin and jump!!
I very recently moved to Gainesville, FL from CA, where I had an excellent pain management doctor. Prior to moving, I found a Dr. here in FL whom I believed would continue my pain meds. My prior doc did send a re ferral and very min. documentation. Found out the hard way that this area has Suboxone pushing doctors and are much more concerned about losing their license. I have an extremely high opioid tolerance and have been on almost every kind of pain meds in the past.
Gabapentin helps kill withdrawal symptoms coming off opiates... big time. 800 to 1600mg or more. I swear by it. Heard this on bluelight and it worked.. was as Godsend.
Between the pain and the doctors that dish the news and walk away. I am on oral fentora which is a form of your drug and I am in constant pain also. Which makes everything even harder. They thought I had lupus and I didn't they were sure, and actually I was relieved to know there would be a name and hopefully a treatment to get me out of pain . I know that sounds very bad , but somehow with a name to a disease everyone treats you differently.
fentora, oxyliquid, fentanel patch. perscribed through a pain management doctor. There is not much follow up with the new medicine and I wonder if all of this is good. I'm wondering should I stop the paxil and buspar and go back to lexapro?
Most meds (excluding fentanyl) are a lot less potent in pill form. There is also Fentora, which is a dissolvable film of ultra short acting fentanyl but has also been FDA approved for treatment of BT cancer pain. I think that excluding so many that have chronic intractable pain from using ultra short-acting opioids was very inappropriate.
800mg Fentora 6x/dayand 100mg morphine extended release 3x/day.which would be the safest way to take Suboxone.

The PM he had was giving him 80mg oxicontin 3 a day, fentora 800ms 3 a day, 15mg morphine sulfate 3 a day 15mg oxycodone 2 per day. He gave them a sample and that is when the methadone was found...we assume he got my pills by mistake but her office manager did not care and would not allow us to talk to the PM DR! To this day we still can not talk to her. Anyone know how we can?

I thought about snorting it, then ran inside and flushed it before I could think about it more. Sites like bluelight have a ton of info on Opana, and none of its good unless you like being really high. The WD stories are really scary.
I think the Clonodine and Klonopin are kicking in. May try to rest my huge self in the bathtub. It's comical trying to get in there, being 6'2". Water doesn't even cover me. Legs hanging out or on the side. Wish I had a book.
The problem with kratom is you don't know what you're getting...doctors don't know squat about it.
Could you get yourself into a detox center? I hate to think of you putting this crap into your body for another month.
There are other sites that have more stories about kratom and getting off it. You can google it, but I'm pretty sure bluelight has a bunch of threads about this drug. Stay away from Erowid...just my opinion.

Im sorry it took me so long to get back as i wasnt able to remember which site i posted for help, kept taking me to (bluelight thread)..anyways thanks for the help but wowwee am i worn out. Tried to go to work today and uhuh, nope not a full day, aint happening, im 40 no sh__ t feels like im 80. Got up made breakfast for my beutiful better/halve which she politely said "no thanks", then i preceeded to eat hers and mine.
I am now on oxycontin and fentora (for breakthrough pain). I have a wonderful pharmacist that explained exactly what you said -"if you are in pain you won't become addicted." I can function through life now I am on the meds. I know the headache is there, but it is more pressure than pain, and believe me, I know when the medication has worn off.
3. Rest, rest, and more rest!! The more excercise, the worse the headache.
He needs willpower just to take his medicine, and block his craving. Resist the urge to relapse. I wish he would write on this forum as well. He writes on Bluelight, but it doesn't seems as positive or encouraging as MedHelp.
He begins a job in a couple of weeks. My fear is that he will use the money to buy drugs. However, without something to fill his time, he will go crazy....literally.
Last semester, he attended college away from home.
