Avatar f tn After eating the med (magnesium trisilicate, metoclopramide and paracetamol) given to me to ease my discomfortness, my fever had gone down, sometimes i still have dizzy spells (but no fainting), but my nausea and frequent urination doesnt improve, instead the nausea got a little worse. For my nausea, i kept having there's "something stucking" around my chest area. When i tried to expel it out, little blots of white phlegm were seen.
Avatar n tn Muscle jerking is very common during a fainting or near-fainting episode. It is also common for people to faint after a meal. If she continues to have these episodes, then I think you should inquire about having a tilt table test. You can find out more information about this here: http://my.clevelandclinic.org/heart/disorders/electric/syncope.aspx Goodluck.
Avatar f tn Yes! If I wait to long to eat it's nausea, weaknesses, dizziness, then fainting. But it all happens in a matter of 30-40 Min. My doctor said it was my sugar dropping from not eating enough.
Avatar f tn These secrete huge amount of insulin in response to food and the person has hypoglycemia or low blood sugar just after eating. Diagnosis is by doing blood sugar levels fating, after food and through glucose challenge test. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do consult your doctor regarding these possibilities and treatment options discussed. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Avatar n tn I'm 18 and have a problem with nausea after eating. About two years ago I became a vegetarian but have only recently starting having problems. In addition, I am tired all the time, have bad headaches, and when I work out I have shortness of breath. My doctor thought I had exercise induced asthma and prescribed an inhaler, but it doesn't seem to help. And now I am having stomach pains.
Avatar n tn Makes me think of gallstones, but I really don't know about that sort of thing very well. I do know I used to get gas whenever I'd eat a big meal after not eating for a while, it hurt like mad to where I had to lay down, and my grandmother had it, too, and she told me to drink an alka seltzer. I released the gas, returned my acidic self into alkaline, and the aspirin helped the discomfort. Just took 20 mins or so and I'd be okay again.

I had to lie on the bathroom floor as my vision had gone completely blurry.
Avatar f tn so today I was in the bathtub, wash my hair, and set up for a second and I started to get really light headed. after about 5 minutes it didn't go away so I went to stand up to open the bathroom door to let some fresh air in, and as soon as I stood up my vision got really blurred and I slowly fell down and I could not move. thank God for my dog licking my face to keep me conscious enough to get up. Is this normal?I am 8 weeks pregnant.
Avatar n tn It sounds like your blood sugar levels are dropping too low after a meal. Since you know that a meal usually raises the level, this isn't normal. Even though your blood sugars aren't completely in control, I would address this with your doctor because it sounds like your medication is being too effective after eating. If it wasn't related to eating, I would think your BP meds need to be lowered, as low BP can have this effect also.
Avatar f tn Agree with mommabear even after my nausea had all but gone when i woke up i had to eat right away if i left it to long it would make me throw up try your best just to nibble small things very regularly.
