About two days ago I began having blurred vision in my left eye. My left eye isimpaired vision from an injury about 6 years ago that developed a scar over my macula and a sort of pucker. My left eye is in good shape but just recently I can not focus on letters on computer screens or other bright objects. The last two days the only thing that has changed is my sleep pattern as I am a college student and have had many exams to study for.
I have been prescribed Acebutolol for PVC's and I am literally exhausted since beginning this medication but I didn't see that as one of the side effects. Also, my vision is blurred. Is this normal?

I'm 13 weeks and today I was in class when my vision suddenly felt blurred. I saw floaties too which lasted about 10 to 15 mins. It made me sick to my stomache. After my vision came back I got a headache in which I slept off but it really freaked me out. Has anyone had the same experience? I even called my doc and he said just to get a lot of rest and drink plenty of water.

Going from a sitting to a standing and then bending can cause rapind changes in the blood pressure that might bring on a woozy feeling with blurred vision. I have had that, but never blacked out. And as for the heart stopping and then starts up with a hard beat, I did have that also with supraventricular tachycardia. I could feel my heart stop and start again even in my wrist. SVTs can cause you to faint, so I would want this evaluated a little better.
About 8 years ago when in the shower, I came over all hot and clammy and my vision blurred, eventually my vision was blacked and I ended up passing out. This has happened since over the years, once on holiday, when I was in a lift. Over the passed year the condition has got worse and i have become reliant on carrying a bottle with me. I have informed the doctor and had several blood tests but nothing was found. I also had an ECG and everything was normal.
You should probably call your doctor, especially if you're having any confusion, blurred vision or swelling as these can be early signs of preeclampsia.
