Avatar m tn What was your Hba1c when you started this med? Have you done any other relevant testing? If so, please also post results.
Avatar f tn Testing, testing. I'm not able to post. I will delete this if it does post.
Avatar f tn Can an 11 week test change come the 12 week conclusive testing window?...also I read a post by dr. HHH and he says 8 weeks is conclusive. Anyone know why this is?
Avatar m tn You know our stance on risk and we stick by it. And your exposure was not even a risk by the conservative CDC. If you had a risk (which you did not) an antibody test at 3 months is conclusive.
Avatar f tn 05mg of synthroid and one cytomel 5mcg and in the eve take one more 5mcg of cytomel. When I go for testing I fast in the morning but take my synthoird . the question is should I also take the cytomel or skip for the testing ?
10743983 tn?1440210210 When does the Doctor normal start testing for downsyndrom and such? I am 21weeks and will be 23weeks and 3days my next visit. Is it something we need to bring up or is it something the Doctor will mention? We haven't heard anything about it at our last couple visits, and being on here obviously nothing quite goes the same as the baby books say, but I am just curious if this test or any others should be brought up by us at our next visit?

Avatar f tn Like an Amniocentesis? That's a genetic testing. You can find out everything from that. They usually do that to test for abnormalities. Like if your quad test came back positive for something. Then they could do that to check to be sure. Don't worry yet call your Dr and ask why they want to do that. Oh they take a really long needle and stick it in your belly into the uterus and amniotic sac and take some fluid for testing. They use ultrasound during so they don't hurt the baby.
Avatar f tn Yup! It just takes so long to get in to a LLMD or get the Testing we are all just twiddling our thumbs...
Avatar m tn The average time for detection of infection using 3rd Generation testing is between 22-30 days, and you are long past that.
Avatar m tn My concern is I thought I was done with all the worrying when I got back on the Internet and read all this stuff about people testing positive after the window period when they used a different test assuming blood. Is oraquick really missing that many infections. I see here about 4-5 people a day have the same concern. I just haven't felt right since this sex act. Just wondering if anybody has had much experience with the oral testing method and knowledgeable of its accuracy.
Avatar f tn With all HIV tests in routine use, if testing is done sufficiently long after the last possible exposure, the results outweigh all other considerations, such as exposure history and symptoms. Even if your partner had HIV (statistically, it is unlikely she did) and even if your symptoms were typical (you don't describe them, so I can't judge), the negative oral fluids antibody tests at both 6 and 8 weeks were 100% reliable.
Avatar f tn Did anyone else opt out of the early testing for down syndrome and other defects? If yes what was your outcome.
