I just finished reading your comments. I have a few questions. You said
your two year old cat jumped in the vivarium and snatched the lizard.
Where do you keep the vivarium? Somewhere up high , I hope.
What does a vivarium look like ? What sort of things are in the vivarium
besides the lizard ? Is the vivarium made of glass ? I used to have anoles
when I was growing up. The vivarium should be located in a place where
the cat can't reach it.
Sorry to hear that the lizard died and that you didn't get any advice to help you.
There could have been a number of factors that killed it. First, having a tank in the sun for two days could've resulted in overheating, not enough heat, too little or too much humidity, not enough shade...basically, a terrarium should be indoors in a controlled environment.

My allergic reaction on the palms of my hands has been raging for over a year, it is now going up my fingers and spreading. (itchy, dry, cracking, can't keep hydrated, lizard like palms). Well I think thats great I wish my Tweety would do the same , she brings in all the critters she can find,she has quietened down a bit as its winter but spring is ahead and no doubt it'll be lizard time again, Yuck, I must have saved the lives of dozens, chasing her around till she drops them, same with birds, its my main occupation in The spring ..lol .
Last week we were at a pet store and she told me she wanted to get rid of her fish and get a lizard instead. I told her no. This morning, I was sitting next to the fish and watched them for a few minutes. There were 2 in there that were just fine. There was a dead fish in there, but she already knew about it. So the ppl I work for got a bearded dragon (giant lizard type of thing). Yes, before I found out I was pregnant my 2 year old started saying I had a Lizard in my Tummy. Once I started showing a little at 12 weeks he started calling my Tummy Deon. I found out the sex at 16 weeks and its a Boy. He knew everything from the beginning.
