Avatar m tn I am just being curious here but has any one in recorded history ever gotten HIV from "fingering" or a handjob. It just seems that a lot of us have been exposed to this level. Around the hand most people have little scrapes or loose skin generally due to the norms of life either as part of what we do at work or through normal everyday household chores and thsu the concern for most of us. Would anybody on this forum know or have heard of transmission via these exual activities.

365714 tn?1292199108 The tracker was designed to allow you to keep the history of your data, so we need to investigate this further. Can you tell us which tracker is affected, what values were lost (was it mood, weight, journals, symptoms, etc), and what date range is affected? Since you don't see the data anymore, it might be difficult, but if you have a guess, that would certainly help.
1749417 tn?1331996992 t remember if I have asked this before so here I go again, on my last mri reports both of them say in the history section...history of ms. Is that a diagnosis? Also on my c-spine it says bilateral c-5 neural foraminal stenosis secondary to zygapophyseal joint hypertrophy and posterior osteophyte formation. Could someone tell me what that means in english.
232 tn?1298411683 I have a family history of cancer that didn't occur until recently. My Mother was diagnosed with stage 2 Tongue and Throat Cancer at the end of 2005. Soon after my Father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer at the beginning of 2006 and passed away in April of the same year. My Mother is in remission now Thank God. My Uncle (Father's Brother) diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer and passed away one day before the election.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with bipolar in 1998 and have been on lithium alone for ten years. Being adopted, I have no health history of my own, yet I have two sons. My oldest is almost 18 and I have never had him tested due to all the trauma of my own illness,(denial is big with me). I have had my suspiscions though, and I know my son has too. Does and illness like this tend to skip a generation or more likely to pass directly from parent to child?
1457838 tn?1324627447 I had my first appt on thursday and got to see the heartbeat. I was scheduled another "formal" ultrasound for Feb. 1st as a precautionary because of my history. In Mar. 2010 I lost mono/mono twins at 21 weeks along. (one sac, one placenta, their cords got entangled which lost oxygen and blood flow). In Oct. 2010 I had an early MC around 5 weeks. Now here I am 7w 3d and want to be out of the first trimester so bad.
Avatar m tn When we say family history, which members of the family are included????
Avatar f tn Here is my lab history. The first set is before meds, the second set was 25mcg levo followed by 50,75,100. Is it normal for T4 levels not to go up. I feel like something is wrong? I did a saliva cortisol test and I had low morning cortisol. I wonder if that is why my T4 level is not improving? Or does this look pretty normal? Jul-13 TSH 1.49 Free T4 0.8 .8 - 1.7 Free T3 2.2 2.3 - 4.2 Total T3 67 50-170 4-Sep TSH 1 0.10 - 5.50 Free T4 0.8 .8 - 1.7 Total T3 52 50-170 18-Oct TSH 1.
Avatar m tn - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exenatide. Getting control on the right-for-you medication is not easy. I have beed T2D since 2007 and have been on a number of different Meds, some of which seemed to work but then longer term had problems. You must keep you chin up and work with your dr. to find the best contol for you. Good luck!
Avatar f tn My family history is my mother had BC at age 43 at 58 recurrence stage four died at 61. Both sisters diagnosed with BC at ages 43 and 47. My Bi-rads rating is a 5 since I am considered high risk. My sisters have tested neg for BCRA1 and 2. Last year I was not as worried, but this time the wait is too intense. I won't get my results until next week. Should I bring someone with me for results? How do I calmly wait? By the way I am the eldest at 53.
