i used prednesolone acetate eye drops prescribed by my doctor, as i had redness of eye and inflmation. after using it it reduced and every thing was normal.But after 3 or 4 years, i had horrible pain in my hips. and when i consulted a bone speciliest, he said that cartilage in my hip joint is woren out, and there are symptoms of artharities, bone is getting woren out due to bone rubbing against each other, due to some steroid or some drug, So can Predesolone acetate be the cause for it.
I got the prescription from the doctor to take 10mg/day of MEDROXYPROGESTERONE ACETATE. However, since I started taking the medicine too late, 2 days after I took the medicine, I still had my period, so I stopped taking it. On May 13th, I had unprotected sex. There is also a cream called eflornithine (vaniqa) this cream slow the facial hair growth,,am not sure about its efficacy!!

Okay, first of all, both of these drugs are interferons. That means that it modulates the immune system response to reduce the number of relapses. Both drugs are sub-cutaneous injectables, which means an injection every other day with a very small needle. (This may sound terrible, but it's not so bad. The injection is painless.)
I've recently become disenchanted with interferons in general, especially Betaseron.
I've read a lot of postings that sound similar to what I have and thought I'd maybe give some hope to someone. I was diagnosed with PVCs and PACs many years ago. They occurred infrequently, and echo came out fine. I was told not to worry about them unless they became a problem. They would come and go for months at a time. Over the years I felt them more and more, though. Eventually they got to the point where they came back and never left.

I went to the ob gyn and she prescribed me with this tablet medroxyprogesterone acetate she said it will help me menstruate and she will be expecting me to menstruate after a week but I'ts been a week since I've been taking these tablets and still no menstruation. Am i pregnant?

Can I gradually taper off the frequency of these steroids as long as the eye stays clear and comfortable? I saw some recommendations on-line for lowering frequency in 2nd week to 3x per day and 2x per day in 3rd week.

If you were my patient, I would advise you that Medroxyprogesterone acetate doesn't help you get pregnant. It only helps you have a period if you are not ovulating on your own. If you want to get pregnant, you should probably ask your doctor for a medication such as Clomid which will help you ovulate too.

The doctor has prescribed two types of eye drops to be administered 4 times a day. They are ketorolac tromethamine and prednisolone acetate. Will my vision recover or is this just stopping further loss? I use to have better than 20/20 and am praying I will get it back.
I had both internal and external hemmorrhoid. The doctor prescribed Hydrocortisone Acetate suppositories 25 mg which did help with the internal Hemmorrhoids but didnt benefit the external one. I am now using Hydrocortisone 2.5% for the external hemmorrhiods since the last 2 months. It does relieve me from the burning pain but looks like the hemmorrhoid just wont go away. There is this piece of mass hanging out of my anus that hurts a lot while every Bowel Movement.
