exelon

Avatar n tn Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
Avatar f tn t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon. My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
Avatar n tn My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?
Avatar m tn can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
Avatar n tn She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.

She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Recently, she started back on the lower dose of Razadyne. Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.
Avatar f tn I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.

Avatar n tn 1mg of xanax at night for 2-3 weeks,I didnt take it one night and around noon the next day felt dizzy with blurred vision and faint floating colors in my vision, didnt feel all there so I think this was a xanax w/d and need a ween off plan for my current dosage and duration of use.should I just cut the dosage in half for a week and then try stopping cold turkey?
Avatar f tn I know that your vision can change while pregnant and you're not supposed to go to the eye doctor for that reason. I've been pretty nearsighted and wearing glasses since I was three (so 22 years now) and didn't really have any issues with my last pregnancy. However, I'm only 13 weeks along this time around and starting to have problems reading small print on the TV that's only about 8ft away with (my glasses on). I plan on talking to my OB at my next appt.
Avatar n tn Thanks for your reply...her blood sugar was 545 when diagnosed and her A1c was 13...her vision had not been great, but now it's awful...talked to the school and they are formulating a 545 plan for her...
1510919 tn?1298825067 I like your birth plan...mine was almost the same except i chose to tear naturally....the only thing to remember is not everything goes as planned. Your early labour was the same as mine...I wanted to move freely, use the labour tub, however I was induced and needed the monitors on me at all times so unfortunately I was not allowed to leave my bed except to use the bathroom. Just remember that if your birth plan does not go the way you wanted it to...
Avatar m tn I had constant headaces and a double/scew vision in my left eye. It started with the headaces and pain in the eye for almost a week. I went into hospital and the doctors did brain scans and blood tests etc. They could not find sinusitus, Malaria, or signs of a stroke. They then admit me into hospital and put me onto medication, the headaces stopped, but the vision is still the same. They now put me onto a drip with cortozone. for 5 days I am now on day 3.
Avatar m tn Given that you have experienced these symptoms for almost 10 years with no loss of vision, presumably you will not lose vision. Your complaints are typical of 1) ocular migraine, and 2) visual hypervigilance. The more you pay attention to, and worry about, these things the more obvious and bothersome they will be to you. Try to relax about all of it and accept it as "just you" and not a disease.
745783 tn?1267545626 my son has a few problems but at the moment when he washes his hair or scratches the back of his head at the base he gets blurred vision evry time can you tell me what this could possibly be
1532707 tn?1312155924 I have BCBS group plan but not any vision and I was thinking about going to the opthamologist to see about my eye cause they feel dry alot of the time despite artificial tears. The other day I was just sitting on the couch and I saw stars. My MS started with optic neuritis but I thought it was a migraine and I never went to the doctor for it. Is it covered? I think its not nescessarily vision but it does pertain to the eyes. Whats your experience?
Avatar f tn This type of vaseline vision has been reported with multifocal IOLs. Explanting a ReStor and putting in a ReZoom in my opinion is like going from the frying pan to the fire. If you need to exchange the IOL I would recommend either a Crystalens or a Tecnis aspheric monofocal and plan on wearing glasses some/much of the time. Get a second or even third opnion before you make up your mind. In the USA find another qualified opinion at www.aao.
Avatar f tn If your other eye is normal with the nature lens it is called 'phakic" having a lens. Your injured eye is 'aphakic" or no lens. The vision will be blurry without thick 'aphakic' glasses or contact lens or having an IOL put in later. (that is called pseudophakia or false lens) Aphakic glasses will not match up with your uninjured phakic eye. So you would need contacts and glasses over the top to get best possible vision while still letting the eyes work together.
Avatar m tn This is my third week after doc said I was diabetic and changed eating patterns and began walking twice daily for 20 minutes. Also put on metforim at 1000 mg a day. I am on day 5 with blurred vision. My doc says it should clear up in a week and is caused from my body adjusting to lower blood levels. Any thoughts on this? This blurry vision is scaring me. It is horrible and I must use my strong reading glasses everywhere I go. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar n tn He had no previous symptoms of a stroke. The only side effect was double vision. It has been almost two weeks and he still sees double. Are there any other options available besides a patch and prism glasses? Is there a surgery procedure available, or is he just suppose to go on with his life with a patch on his eye, like the nurosurgeon told us?
