Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?
can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about.
Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause.

My brother to this day works in that same plant and is a supervisor of about 30 years with accrued vacation time and wonderful retirement and medical. He belongs to the union and will be the very first to tell you it is the union that helps keep the plant honest. The workers voted to have a union and it was never something that was forced on anyone. If you wanted to work for Keebler, yu knew up front it was union. Your choice.
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.
On my x-ray it states the greater tuberosity is in the fibrous union state. Does that mean it is a non -union?

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

Since then I have had another bone graft and compression procedures and there is still no real sign of any progress at the fracture site, and definitely no signs of any union. They are now considering starting all over cutting another 5-cm out to tidy the ends and going through all the lengthening again as a last attempt to save my leg. I was wondering if there is anything else that to help the bone grow, any advances in medicine, and why the bone is not growing as the free flap was a success?

I will have the cam walker/boot for 6-8 more weeks and then swtich to a brace, no more crutches and a cane. Union usually takes 3 to 4 months. There can be a delay in union and the fracture can take upto 18 months for union.Delay in union is thought to occur because the talus has a poor and fragile blood supply. Avascular necrosis is it's self not a big problem. The problem occurs when after avascular necrosis the body of the talus collapses.

I recently had an MRI that showed a non union distal fibular. The MRI also indicated torn ligaments from a previous injury. The doctor is recommending a bone stimulator to help the non union. If this does not work, he said I should have surgery to insert screws!! The pain in my ankle is not severe, but is uncomfortable and fairly constant. Question: Do you think the bone stimulator will help? Are there other alternatives, i.e. physical therapy etc?
