Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?
She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about.
Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause.

Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.
No possibility of Hepatitis C transmission from what you describe. Transmission can only occur with "blood to blood" contact.

Hi, I heard that when you pass an hiv test that some insurance company can refuse to insure you just because you pass a test even when the test is negative. Can anyone confirm me that it's not thrue because I already had a test and the result was negative ans I would like to know if I can have some problems with an insurance company?

Based on both these questions and the information in your previous thread, this still doesn't sound at all like herpes. As for transmission risk to your girlfriend, the answer is no: even if you had acquired HSV, you would not be able to transmit it 6 hours after exposure. People aren't infectious that soon; at least 2-3 days is required. And her symptoms aren't typical for herpes -- and it sounds like she isn't concerned about her symptoms anyway.
This Q is not of a sexual nature. Just today, a guy from my company had cut his finger deeply and asked me to help him. I took out some gauze and used it to apply pressure to the wound with my index finger and thumb. So it was my index finger on top, then the gauze, then his cut finger, and then my thumb, if you saw it from top to bottom. His finger was bleeding profusely. Some blood may have soaked thru the gauze and come into contact with my finger, but I am not sure.

The doctors that I have been seeing admit that there is really no good evidence to support the claim that a c-section reduces the likelihood of transmission compared to a vaginal delivery as does the research that I have done myself. There is one study, however, that says that the risk of transmission maybe be higher for vaginal delivery, albeit statistically insignificant. The risk was found to be 1% higher.
