Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?

As part of its long-term commitment to hepatitis C therapy, Schering-Plough also is developing SCH 900518 ("518"), a next-generation HCV protease inhibitor. A Phase IIa study with 518, known as the NEXT-1 study, is currently ongoing. The company said that 518 has been shown to be 10 times more potent in-vitro than other protease inhibitors currently in Phase III development and has the potential for once daily dosing.
She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about.
Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause.
Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.

Maybe this is actually a 3rd generation test? I got tested at "Out of the closet" on sunset blvd. Seems like here in LA they would not still be using a 2nd generation test. It doesn't say what generation the test is on the paper work I got or the website for the test.
I read also that all rapid test now are 3rd generation or 4th. Is that true or could they still be using a 2nd generation rapid test?

I got a call today with a offer to enroll in a trial for the Next Generation Protease Inhibitors. Doctor says this a real potent medicine. With no damage I am not sure what to do. Does any one know anything about is Inhibitor?
pdf patient recorded of bleeding date and it shows positive by 150 day even using the 4th generation technology . I’m really confused too it looks like the company trying to urge that 12 month may not be conclusive. I will try to contact them hopefully they will answer

After emailing the company, I came to find that it is a 2nd generation test. I wanted to know if this generation of test has the same sensitivity as the 3rd and 4th generations of tests, in terms of being able to pick up antibodies at 6-8 weeks (but I know you have to re-test out to 3 months). 21 days - Oraquick, 30 days - Oraquick, 35 days - Oraquick, 38 days - 4th generation ag/ab duo test through MyLab Box, 42 days - Oraquick, 48 days - 4th generation ag/ab duo test through MyLab Box (for all STI's) & finally at 64 days - Oraquick. All tests came back negative. Would this be conclusive, as my concern is my tongue is still coated, but has no gotten worse. Thanks for any advice.
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.
If this labs use a first generation tests will my result be reliable? I also called the online company getstdtested.com and they say that questdiagnostics is using first and second generation tests. I will really appreciate your opinion and knowledge .

NO! Your 4th generation duo test is CONCLUSIVE. YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV.

i hope this will be my last question in the forum as i m waiting on monday my almost conclusive test. I was tested arlready negative at 7 weeks.
I found that my test was done in a "Cobas Mira" series diagnostic machine, made by the french company Roche. Do you have any idea what elisa generation it uses? From what I find, these diagnostics machines were out on the market in the first years of 1990'. So I am afraid that my test was a first generation.
I went to the CDC 14 days after possible exposure to get a test, it was neg,and went to another hospital 18 days after possible exposure,it was neg,then I bought the abbott 4th generation ag/ab combo test strip and did a test myself 26 days after possible exposure,the result is negative, is it sufficiant enough to prove that I am not infected?

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.
1sr was after 4 weeks which was 4th generation (p24/ab) and it was negative and I read some posts for the Experts here who said 4 weeks is 100% reliable .
I aslo had rapid test in 12 weeks and it was negative and the test is made by american company and its manufacture in china.
I want to ask about the rapid test. I emailed the company in USA and asked them about the FDA approval .

I recently went online and looked at my medical records that are available through my health insurance company. I noticed that in 2005 and 2007 I had been diagnosed with Pure Hypercholesterolemia. This concerns me because my doctor has never mentioned this to me or put me on any statin medications. I'm 38 years old and have been on High Blood Medication since I was about 27. My normal BP without meds is about 140/90 with it I'm 120/77.
