Avatar n tn Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
Avatar f tn t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon. My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
Avatar n tn My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?
Avatar m tn can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
Avatar m tn I was in a dirt bike accident over the weekend, I banged my head pretty hard but didn't lose consciousness. I was wearing a helmet an Leatt-brace (neck brace). My vision was slightly off for about 20 minutes (like looking through a prism) but after that went away, I loaded up my truck and drove home. I came home, ate dinner and took a shower then headed to the rec center to swim with my kids. When we got to the pool, I felt nausous and told my friend I would be right back.
Avatar n tn She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.
Avatar m tn Thinking about having screws removed from my IM rod because they are causing discomfort. Planning on leaving the rod in however. What would my recovery period be? I am a power lineman and I climb poles. The actual climbing gaffs strap right around the area where the screws are below the knee and at the ankle. Just curious how long I could expect to be off work, discomfort level, etc. Thanks for any info.
Avatar f tn When I developed a goiter it was very noticeable. I had the neck of a football lineman. I was only 5'2 and 88lbs. There was no denying my goiter. I did end up with hyper/graves. I also went undiagnosed for 6 months because they attributed all my symptoms to post partum depression. It was not until I developed a goiter that they jumped into action. They say it is heriditary, but out of 15 sibilings, I am the only one who had graves. No one else on either side of the family has graves.
Avatar n tn Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.

She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Recently, she started back on the lower dose of Razadyne. Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

Avatar m tn I am a power lineman. I know that climbing poles is out for a few months but walking sure would be nice! Haha! Any info or life experiences would be appreciated. I'm just not used to being down like this and it's getting a bit depressing. Thanks for any info!
Avatar n tn It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
Avatar n tn I'm a 20 year old male and a former high school offensive lineman. During my senior season I hurt my knee during practice twice in a day first by falling and landing directly on it and then by twisting it. What resulted was an intense pain on the inside of my right knee that usually came after climbing stairs or having to keep my knees in the same position for an extended period of time (e.g. at a movie, or during a car ride).
Avatar f tn I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
Avatar m tn ......UNSURE HOW TO START THIS POST AS I AM NEW TO THIS.....I WILL GIVE IT MY BEST. I NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH ANY DRUGS IN MY PAST (I AM A 34 YEAR OLD DAD OF THREE). SEVEN YEARS AGO I BROKE MY HAND AT WORK AND WAS PRESCRIBED VICODIN 5/500 FOR THE PAIN. WELL THE REST AS THEY SAY, IS HISTORY. I STAYED ON VICODIN UNTIL A SHOULDER INJURY REQUIRED SURGERY ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO AND AT THAT TIME I WAS PLACED ON A HIGH DOSE OF PERCOCET BY MY DOCTOR. I STRUGGLED WITH THIS ADDICTION.....
900662 tn?1469390305 I would have thought you would have made him a wide receiver or lineman of your fav team - da Bears! - and had him in the team colors instead of dressed for the office with that tie. Here's hoping he melts soon and doesn't spawn any offspring in the next few weeks. And yes, well done on the snowman.
Avatar f tn Unless of course you want to be a football offensive lineman!
Avatar f tn We had a girl make the varsity football team here, as a lineman! She was a big girl, and the coach told her that as long as she could compete and as long as she didn't get injured, she could be on the team. He told her the same standards they used for the boys was applicable to her. She played the majority of a year and an injury ended her career. We personally know this girls parents.
Avatar f tn Both Smilerdeb and I experienced thyroid storms and they are miserable. I think it depends on the person too. It landed me in the hospitol - I was shaking - trembles - horrible horrible panic and anxiety and heart palps ( more like almost feeling like I was having a stoke) were horrble too. I remember feeling HOT through it all. Like my body was shorting out. That's about all I can remember.
Avatar f tn I was semi serious about the super bowl. The last time I watched football was when **** Butkus was a lineman for the Bears. For all you football fanatic's, I guess you can kick me to the curb. Is that the same as the gutter? Doesn't matter, I've laid in both. Ah, the good old days. Don't forget what today is people. A day of getting along with everybody!
