Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?
I am very concerned about this and would like to know what may possibly be causing this. If anyone can help or offer suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.
Hi, it is the looking down that is getting to u, all ur work is on the desk...try and get something u can place on the desk that not only elevates it but puts it on an angle so u can sit there longer without the neck being bent.

PS I was told to keep everything including the comp monitor at eye level, books etc....so that may help u.
My N.P. said you can probably do a desk job, but not a physical labor job. I had a desk job and I worked 33 weeks of my treatment. I got every other Fri. off. I did have to take some time off when I didn't feel good (had a lot of trouble with nausea especially at first).
You can even phone them and ask to speak to the person at the baby registry desk, and ask which model is the best seller. They are fountains of good and useful information.
Maybe instead of having the ads on the sites next to where people are trying to write to help a person or get help have them at the top of the page or before the forum page or something else. I don't read any of the ads though myself I am here to help people mostly but have received a lot too. Regarding the angry first person, I was trying to calm that person down by referring them to tech support because it was inappropriate when it was on the general help site.
I work in an office where you are tied to your desk all day for 9 hours you can't get up and move around I'm 23 weeks and my legs and ankles are starting to really swell I move my ankles like they tell you to on a plane but they are starting to get sore and quite unsightly. ..
I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
Consult the "Blueblook" or PDR (Physician's Desk Reference) for information on the manufacturer of any drug. It's available in most libraries.
But don't be surprised if they have no conversation with you. There is little other information than that which is in the PDR that they could provide you with.
The counselor opened a vaccumed sealed package and dumped the contents onto the bare surface of her desk. A desk where all other patients HIV tests are performed. I did not see her wipe the desk down first with any sort of decontamination product, nor did she lay down any barrier on the surface such as a medical diaper or paper towel. She put on gloves and opened an alcohol swab to wipe my finger tip. She then grabbed the protected needle and punctured my finger. All good up until now.
Hi I went for a routine blood test today at a new clinic. Normally I watch all medical procedures closely as I once had a nurse put a dressing on incorrectly and ended up with a nasty painful infection a couple of days later (it was awful and stank), but I can't watch injections or blood tests. I did notice the nurse put the needle on their desk just before he took the blood I think it was uncapped and I didn't see him clean the desk.

Hey ladies I need some help. I work the front desk 5 days a week for 8 hours a day so needless to say, I'm on my feet a lot. I'm 28 weeks along so my ankles are beginning to really bother me. Any suggestions on some good work shoes to buy? Since I do have to look dressy and professional I can't just have tennis shoes. But they don't have to be heels or wedges. I've been wearing flats but they have no cushion and are just horrible!
