Avatar n tn Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
Avatar f tn t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon. My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
Avatar n tn My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?

Avatar n tn She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.
359574 tn?1328360424 I took my MRA/MRI films to my annual appointment. She did another vision field test, which I passed with flying colors again, despite my little blind-ish spot. Absolutely nothing is changed from a year ago, except that my pain is worse. She gave me a little anatomy lesson sketch and explained why the suspected aneurysm on my internal carotid is unlikely to be the cause of my TN, as the 1st branch of the trigeminal nerve is pretty far away from that artery.
Avatar f tn Hi there. Have my daughter's MRI report and the finding says 'There is an incidental prominent pervisacular space in the left posterior temporal white matter'. Our Neuro said its common don't worry but wouldn't explain what it is. Our gp said it is worth gettting an annual MRI report done.....can anyone just tell me what it means and should I be concerned? thanks.
Avatar m tn I would imagine that you'd complain about something like a hernia. If you don't notice or report symptoms, what is she to look for? You are a fairly young man. I don't think she is shy or reluctant but in a physical, they expect you to bring up issues. If you don't, they do the basic check of that area. Do you suffer health anxiety?

Avatar f tn Hello, I’m a 36 yo who went to my gyn for annual and she felt an enlarged left ovary. I have had some low back and pelvic discomfort as well as occasional left thigh pain and bloating. There is history of ovarian on paternal side and breast on maternal. I’m brca negative. The tvus shows a 2.6cm “structure” on left ovary that’s slightly heterogenous but mostly hypo/isoechoic. there’s some internal flow. The report says it’s solid and not a cyst due to vascularity.
Avatar f tn Hello, I went to my doctor for my annual visit. The blood tests showed that I have Borderline High Thyroid level and Vitamin D is low. I am worried/scared. What could this mean?

698356 tn?1240150727 First I must say. I absolutely love my GP. I went in today for my annual exam and to talk about lingering symptoms. All that bloating, gas, and constipation... I got tested for H Pylori and it was positive! So I'm starting a pair of antibiotics for two weeks and then two weeks later going in for a breath test to see if the bacteria is gone! I was a little worried that it was an ovarian issue since it runs in my family.

Avatar n tn but to come back in 6 months for my annual. I did, new nurse, when I asked if she was going to do a magnified film she said she didn't think so unless it was requested. I asked if she could show my where on my films from 6 months ago there was a concern, she didn't know because it wasn't marked. She said she would check with Dr. about the magnified film and came back stating "looks stable". Then she told me where to change and exit.
Recently, she started back on the lower dose of Razadyne. Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

Avatar m tn They are all made by an English company called Reckitt Benckister. On the cover of the 2008 Annual Report is a picture of a product called Cillit BANG Power Cleaner. If you look at their 16 page summary of their 84 page annual report, Suboxone is not mentioned. In looking at page 18 of the 2008 Business Review (in annual report) they have a category called Pharmaceuticals of one product, can you guess what that is.

Avatar m tn hello, i don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but i am applying for health insurance and i had questions about the 'annual deductible'. Is this something i have to pay before i get coverage? or how does this work out? It's a temporary health plan by the way (6 months) with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. So Could anyone possibly explain this deductible to me please?
Avatar f tn I just turned 18 in July and in November I will be due for a physical. All my life I've had a child wellness visit every year, but now I'm switching from my pediatrician to a family doctor. Will my physical be different from a child wellness check? I'm not sexually active and I never have been, so will the doctor want to look "down there"? I'm a little nervous because it will be a doctor that I don't know.
Avatar f tn I went for my annual mammography 7/19/10 and was called back for addtional testings of a spot compression and ultrasound done on 7/28/10. The annual mammo report stated the breast parenchyma is hetrogeneoulsy dense. This diminishes the sensitivity of mammography. There has been increase in size prevously noted circumscribed masses in the left breast since the previous examination of 5/14/09.
