I was asked to take Ranitidine (Zantac) and Esomeprazole (Nexum) in case it was a case of GERD; I was even prescribed Montelukast Sodium (Myteka) in case it was an allergy that was causing the choking. I've used nasal drops because one doctor also suggested it could have been caused by Sinusitis. None of the above helped. I have been taking Pregabalin (Lyrica) and found that it helped decrease the extremity of the pain in my chest but the choking still remains.
Could this be cancer?
As fas as I know, nexium (esomeprazole) only interferes with biaxin (clarithromycin). It heightens the amount of esomeprazole by inhibiting the degradation of esomeprazole. have terrible constipation for that i daily take sodium picosulfate. have APD for which i take esomeprazle 20mg daily. for thyroid im taking carbimazole 10mg and proranolol 10mg daily. im also taking antihistamines for last 6 years for severe allergic rhinitis. plz tell me how should I proceed for the treatment of thyroid nodule???
Can I take esomeprazole,diazepam,antihistamine( Given by doc to help sleep ). Green tea capsules,cranberry pills,multivitamins and kanna together please? And on days I don't take my diazepam can i take valerian instead with these other supplements?

dr give me letter for my own dr..for new tablets for my reflux..on getting my tablets they called esomeprazole .40mg twice daily..and iv got to say they have helped my reflux,so what im thinking now is esomeprazole the same family of meds as nexius..i dont have to take these new meds with food just full glass water...i will check with my drs on thid .

I was given esomeprazole and other drugs but since then I have had chest pains in the left, shortage on breath , some cough though I had this before and tightness in the chest sometimes. What could this be?
t been able to consider the doctors request to get an endoscopy, but I just wanted to ask that are we supposed to take laxatives daily, since doctors in my place thought that it could be done? I have been taking one that is a mixture of sodium picosulphate and paraffin with milk of mangensia which is a strong laxative I suppose.

There are two likely etiologies for the calf pain:
(1) Vascular, which is unlikely at your son's age. Can be ruled out with a doplar scan of the legs.
(2) Sciata. - Calf pain secondary to compression of the nerves in the lower spine, L1-L5.
Clearly an MRI of the lower spine L1-L5 is indicated. This is the most common cause of calf pain in young athletes. I would have another MRI, with dye contrast, from another physician.

I think insurance companies are dropping many drugs because acceptable generic equivalents are available, as is the case with Nexium (Esomeprazole). The generic version of the drug will work very well for you. I'm betting you will be just fine.
I wonder if you have considered discussing tapering off/discontinuing Nexium/Esomeprazole and see what happens. After having the Nissen Fundoplication surgery I was able to discontinue taking the drug and have been symptom free.
He checked my larynx and said I had inflammation due to GERD. He told me to make some diet changes and to take Esomeprazole 40mg every day. After three months he told me to continue for a year. Close to a year, friends were concerned I was on it fir too long and I called the ENT and he took me off it. After stopping it I have suffered of the most horrible heartburn and excessive burping. I've had GERD for a few years and I take 40mg of Nexium (Esomeprazole) every day. I'd like to try magic (Psilocybin) mushrooms. It it possible that they would aggravate my reflux or interact negatively with the Nexium? I was taking Esomeprazole levosulpride empty stomach daily. In november2016, i had constipation, bloating, acid reflux. Having bad stomach ache i was admitted and diagnosed with infective ulceritis. Started medication. But condition wasnt improving. In april2017, had colonoscopy done. Found terminal illeal ulcer. After the medications, condition wasnt improving. Severe constipation, acid reflux. I have consulted numerous doctors. Some have told me to live with this my entire life.

My blood magnesium levels were low a few weeks ago and they just got back to normal right before I started taking the Nexium. I've been taking Naxium in the evening (4-5pm) at least an hour before having dinner.
I was put on Esomeprazole 20 but i had very bad side effects especially dizziness and body weakness... I went back to the doctor who changed the medication to Lansoprazole 30mg but still i feel like there is no improvement on the dizziness and body weakness. esomeprazole inorder to reduce the acid and help heal the ulcer as I was told but my all test is clear there was no ulcer.

e on Wednesday night and all heart etc ok but this pain was terrible codine didn’t touch it It’s like a burning grawling pain
So I have been back and forth to the drs for few weeks now they can’t get me in for an endoscopy for a month or so Iv had my bloods done all ok and Pancras checked and ultrasound no gallstones etc but I have this chronic pain in my stomach and back shoulder blades mostly at night and Iv had to take morphine to take away the pain it’s that bad.
