Esomeprazole in pregnancy

Common Questions and Answers about Esomeprazole in pregnancy

nexium

Avatar f tn t want to keep the baby,,, I just took nexium 20mg esomeprazole.....I was wondering if it could be one of the remedies in abortion..... please help!
Avatar f tn As fas as I know, nexium (esomeprazole) only interferes with biaxin (clarithromycin). It heightens the amount of esomeprazole by inhibiting the degradation of esomeprazole. Macrobid is nitrofurantoin, not clarithromycin. You may also look here: http://www.ehealthme.com/drug_interactions_side_effects/Nexium-2792078.
Avatar f tn Your doctors are giving you pills to help you sleep, but are not looking to the cause of your sleeplessness. I suffered from insomnia for 30 years. No one looked for a cause. I found what it was accidentally when I developed a craving for clams. I needed iodine. I now take iodine supplements and sleep like a normal person. A simple solution to a serious problem.
Avatar n tn This was during a time that I was bedridden for unrelated reasons and I wonder if perhaps the extremely long time in bed (24 hours a day for about 3 months) is what began it. Originally I would have 4 hour, 6, or even longer sessions of constant, repeated burps. One burp every 4-5 seconds for hours at a time. Often very small amounts of food will come up with this.
Avatar m tn Uniform Medical is not going to cover any PPI's in 2012. They stated that this is because they have a policy that any drug that has an equivilent OTC will not be covered. Can you believe it! I need to some good references and examples of medical appeal letters. I had a Nissin back in 2004 for hiatal hernia and have taken 2 40mg Nexium a day since. I have a slight scarred esophagus and only occasional breakthrough at night.
Avatar n tn He told me to take it with food since the stomach cells need to be active (food activates them) for most benefit. That is in complete contradiction to the label, which says to take it 1hr before eating. I have taken other PPIs and they also suggest the 1hr before eating rule.
Avatar m tn I was given esomeprazole and other drugs but since then I have had chest pains in the left, shortage on breath , some cough though I had this before and tightness in the chest sometimes. What could this be?
Avatar m tn He checked my larynx and said I had inflammation due to GERD. He told me to make some diet changes and to take Esomeprazole 40mg every day. After three months he told me to continue for a year. Close to a year, friends were concerned I was on it fir too long and I called the ENT and he took me off it. After stopping it I have suffered of the most horrible heartburn and excessive burping. It’s been three weeks and it’s not as bad, but the problem still going on.
Avatar m tn Is there any effect when esomeprazole magnesium tablet taken with itraconazole capsule.
Avatar f tn I was taking Esomeprazole levosulpride empty stomach daily. In november2016, i had constipation, bloating, acid reflux. Having bad stomach ache i was admitted and diagnosed with infective ulceritis. Started medication. But condition wasnt improving. In april2017, had colonoscopy done. Found terminal illeal ulcer. After the medications, condition wasnt improving. Severe constipation, acid reflux. I have consulted numerous doctors. Some have told me to live with this my entire life.
Avatar m tn Do you think my bad breath can still be cured?
Avatar f tn I started taking over-the-counter Nexium (esomeprazole magnesium 20mg/capsule) a few days ago and may be taking them for at least the next 2 weeks. My blood magnesium levels were low a few weeks ago and they just got back to normal right before I started taking the Nexium. I've been taking Naxium in the evening (4-5pm) at least an hour before having dinner.
Avatar m tn I've had GERD for a few years and I take 40mg of Nexium (Esomeprazole) every day. I'd like to try magic (Psilocybin) mushrooms. It it possible that they would aggravate my reflux or interact negatively with the Nexium? I want to see brand new colors and feel like I'm one with the universe but I also want to be kind to my esophagus. Thanks!
Avatar n tn When I was a baby I was born premature and I was lactose intolerant and then as I got older would just randomly throw up for no reason.. lately its been a burning in my stomach, throbbing/stabbing pain in my lower right side and what I believe to be hemorrhoids. My stool is usually very liquidy and bright yellow. I have the procedure to have a camera put into my stomach to see what's wrong on July second (2 days after my birthday.. happy birthday to me! >.<)..
Avatar f tn I was put on Esomeprazole 20 but i had very bad side effects especially dizziness and body weakness... I went back to the doctor who changed the medication to Lansoprazole 30mg but still i feel like there is no improvement on the dizziness and body weakness. I am also having heart palpitations which i think are from anxiety. Other side effects i am having include tingling sensation in arms and legs, chest tightness, headaches, sore throat and cough with sputum...

Avatar f tn Hi I have come across this forum and thought I’d see if anyone else has these symptoms if they knew what helped them?
Avatar f tn I was asked to take Ranitidine (Zantac) and Esomeprazole (Nexum) in case it was a case of GERD; I was even prescribed Montelukast Sodium (Myteka) in case it was an allergy that was causing the choking. I've used nasal drops because one doctor also suggested it could have been caused by Sinusitis. None of the above helped. I have been taking Pregabalin (Lyrica) and found that it helped decrease the extremity of the pain in my chest but the choking still remains. Could this be cancer?
Avatar f tn So I have GERD and regularly take PPIs (one 20 mg pill per day, I rotate between Omeprazole, Esomeprazole, and Lansoprazole because they seem to lose effectiveness after a while if I just stay on the same one indefinitely) but for the past several days I've had excessive gas and heartburn. I've stopped eating all spicy foods as a result but it so far hasn't helped. Is it safe to double my PPI dosage for a week or two to see if that helps me alleviate this issue?
Avatar m tn I had sex with sex worker it was protected with condom and we had sex two times. In last when i ejaculated she put her hand to take the condom in her hand, the condom were in her hand and i pulled out and the condom slipped off and then she washed her self and said to me that you were already out when condom slipped and i doubt it was 1 second exposure.
Avatar n tn This has got progressively worse in the past year since having an endoscopy which found nothing untoward other than inflammation due to excess stomach acid.
