Vanderbilt has a full autonomic testing clinic and Mayo Jacksonville has a partial autonomic testing clinic. There are tests at Vanderbilt that Mayo J. doesn't have (in fact some of the ones they're planning on doing on you), and likely you DO need to have those tests if you have generalized dysautonomia rather than "just" POTS.

The Mayo clinic sees children with Dysautonomia. Be patient because it takes 4-6 months to get in. I have a 13 year old daughter with these symptoms. There is a doctor at the Valla New york medical school who treats teens with POTS and hiis name is Dr. Julian Stewartt. Issues I have in recent years is significant and worsening swelling of ankles and legs , as well as Erectile dysfunction . Is there any better drugs or treatment?

I live in NYC and was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy and orthostatic intolerance by the Mayo Clinic in Minn. For follow-up treatment i have been seeing Dr. Louis Weimer at Columbia University (who heads their autonomic testing lab there). He is essentially following the Mayo Clinic's treatment suggestions but is knowledgeable and aware of the alternative options since these conditions require tons of medication adjustments / trials.

I have POTS and am supposed to go to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota this winter. I'm curious who has been to Mayo before and how their experiences went. Did you use the POTS clinic part of it or something else? I am also curious because I am mainly going to see if any doctor can figure out the underlying cause of my POTS (my current doctors are not interested in testing for any possible causes of it). Should I go to the POTS clinic part of it or should I just see a general doctor there?

Has anyone from the MS forum ever seek treatment for their MS at the Mayo Clinic? If so, how was your as your experience with physicians from the clinic? I am considering driving up to Mayo at some point if my neurologist in town can't definatively diagnosis me.

Some here on the board are not real pleased with the Mayo clinic. It seems they have their own set of standards to give out a dx of MS. I personally know nothing about them and wish you the best....hoping for that answer.

You need to get Testosterone Injections from your Doctor, Low T Clinic/Men's Clinic, or Endocrinologist. Me and other people I know have tried it and it will make you feel like your an 18yr old again. Trust me! Easy fix.

I'm suffering from erectile dysfunction I had treatment by chiropractor 1.5 years ago after that I'm suffering from ed for last 1.5 year.

Hello and welcome to the Pain Management Community. I have not been to the Jacksonville Mayo Clinic. However I have many close friend and family that have been to the Mayo Clinic in the north. It has an excellent reputation and has done wonders for all those that I know. I'm going to sound like a broken record but have they ruled out a SIJ (sacroiliac joint) Dysfunction? I went for years without a diagnosis. Sleepless nights and all.

If this referral doesnt work out do any of you recommend anyone else at Cleveland Clinic, MN Mayo campus or Vanderbilt? Any info you can provide will be appreciated more than you can possibly know.
