my question is simple. do i need to stop my enbrel to get rid of my hpv?
I'M A MALE 59 YEARS OLD BUT WITH A VERY ACTIVE LIFE STYLE. I;VE HAD RA FOR 25 YEARS, STARTING TAKING METHOTREXATE ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO WITH PREDIZONE FROM TIME TO TIME. AROUND THREE YEARS AGO I WAS HAVING FLARE UPS AND MY DOCTOR ALSO ME ON ENBREL, WORKED VERY GOOD FOR THE RA BUT MY NOW MY THROAT IS ALWAYS SORE AND CONGESTED WITH PHELM. THIS YEAR I'VE SEEM NUMEROUS DOCTORS ENT, GENERAL ALERGIST AND EVEN HAD SINUS SURGERY FOR 30 GRAND, NOTHING FIXED THE THROAT PROBLEMS.

My daughter is 17 and had a deep cavity filled, a root canal and hand surgery all within a week and a half of each other ending up on Norco for all issues for ta total of a week and a half. Her hiccups started when she was on the Norco prior to the surgery. She had no complications during surgery.
She continued to take the norco until a day or two after surgery then coming completely off by that point.
That was 2 months ago and she still has hiccups.
I've been on enbrel for about 5yrs for RA and also developed respitory problems. I coughed for 6 months and had every test possible. No diagnosis proved true. I even had surgery to remove swollen lymphnodes in my chest, which were deemed hyperplastic. Whats left from the illness is a once-a-day wheeze attack. I stopped taking enbrel for the past month and feel like sh*t. Heading back to the DR. soon.
My Doc took me off them to since i been on Enbrel and I don't know why but i think i should be on them.
I was only 42 at the time and the thought of that was mindboggleing! Enbrel was introduced in 1998 and by the time my insurance agreed to pay for it it was Spring 1999 when I took my first injection. I started Enbrel along with an injectible dose of.09 Mtx weekly. For me Enbrel was a light-switch medication and within 2 weeks I was a normal functioning adult again with no pain at all.
He is 56 and suffers from chronic neck pain, which he says is 6/10 scale constantly and unrelieved by medication or any other therapy he has tried. He had an auto accident in 2002 and suffered head trauma; loss of consciousness and was sedated for 3 weeks. He then was in therapy for 3 months. He still has visual problems (sees double with left eye), feelings of dizziness and fogginess, and some paralysis of his right facial muscles.
m convinced that there is a correlation between these things and the Enbrel. Have any other Enbrel users been diagnosed with any of these inflammatory diseases? My gut feeling is that the Enbrel truly is the cause, but it has worked so well on my joints, I'm hesitant to try anything else. My Rheumatologist is going to argue with me about my hypothesis, but I know my body. Can anyone give some insight?
My mom is on Enbrel. She began in May of 2009. Prior to that she was on Arava for five months and it almost killed her. She lost 60 lbs, had heart issues, urinary tract infections, had no appetite and was incredibly weak. Her RA doctor said it was not the Arava. It was. I took her to the Lahey Cllinic and they confirmed it. I had taken her off the medication before going to the Lahey Clinic but it was a binding med. so it stayed in her system for months afterwards.
Hi - has anyone who has ever been on Enbrel noticed a rust-colored staining on the hands? I'm not sure if it is directly related to enbrel, but I thought I would ask. My daughter was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis several months ago, and has tried Remicade unsuccessfully. Now, she has had 2 injections of Enbrel, and just today has noticed the staining on her hands. I don't know what to think, so I'd appreciate hearing from any of you.

I am 24 years old male I was recently diagnosed with Reiter's Syndrome (Reactive Arthritis). I am positive for HLA-B27 antigen. It's been almost one month since the first swelling and before that I had Chlamydia. My symptoms so far are swelling in knees, elbow, ankles, toes, wrist, fingers, and I think in my spine too, and of course, pain and stiffness. I didn't have any other problem from the list of problems that come with Reiter's.

Hi I have been on Enbrel injections for over 4 years and i can't praise the drug enough fantastic results - i have the chance to visit family in Australia for 4 months when i retire in 18 months time the only obstacle is my medication and how would it work with my getting enbrel injections and it is a long flight - is there a solution around this problem
Most of what I have read has indicated that most women take it until they are ready to try to conceive or all the way to confirmation of conception. I did not find any accounts of women who were on Enbrel through delivery, but I am sure there are a couple out there. I suggest you talk to your OB/Gyn and your rheumy and then decide what you want to do based on their advice. Let us know what you decide to do and know that we will be here to support you in everything.
Can you take enbrel for psorasis and interfern for Hepatitis C, and be safe and will both medication work
Anyone who is being or has been treated for HepC (Peginterferon & Ribavirin) who has been--and continues to be-treated for Psoriatic Arthritis with Enbrel?
Last week, I was diagnosed with HepC, Genotype 1a, Stage 2, Grade 2. I've been taking 50mg/week of Enbrel for 6 years, and the Enbrel is a godsend.
I'm wondering how the PA and/or Enbrel fare with HepC Treatement.
