enablex

1188179 tn?1350116119 Forgot to say that after the failure of Vesicare, I was put back on Enablex for my overactive bladder. I'm also on Estrace Cream.
Avatar f tn I used it. I went up to 20 mg and still didn't help. I think I have tried everything out there. Enablex seems to help me the most. I never had any side effects from any of them.

Avatar m tn which meant I had to return to my urologist....He gave me elmiron and vesicare to treat the IC....the Elmiron never helped my pain and, the Vesicare took my blood pressure from 113/72 pulse 68 to 153/103 pulse 122...I contacted my urologist and, he stated...that's not true ... neither of these meds would cause your blood pressure to go up...well, I called him back four days later...
Avatar m tn My doctor did a urinalysis and it came back negative. He put me on Enablex which has yet to help at all (2 wks. ago). I am at my wits end trying to find a solution for what is going on. In addition to the urination problem, I also have tingling in the scrotum and trouble with the head of the penis retracting inward in an uncomfortable manner. Prior to the surgery, I was totally healthy and had no urological issues. I would be very appreciative for any help. I am getting desperate!
Avatar m tn this when I had my post op Appt I never truely got an answer then I went back to her she gave me some Enablex that never truely help with the no sensation to urinate nor the having feeling when having sex can some one tell me what is going on?
Avatar f tn On celexa, tried oxybutinin and myrbetriq. Gave me anxiety. Is enablex a good choice? Side effect of celexa was frequent urination. Eneblex only one that didn't cause anxiety, but side effects are bad. Anybody?
Avatar n tn I have a question. Are drugs in the benzo family ever used to treat seizures? As in Xanax, Klonopin, Valium, Ativan, Restoril, etc? I have simple partial seizures and was on xanax on an "as needed" basis to control some nervousness about going back to college. I was on it for about 2 months. I started realizing I got less of my sensory and motor seizures which have always been uncontrollable since I started getting them back in 2000.
Avatar f tn It's hard to say what's going on when you describe the feeling as "weird." Enablex can cause mild body aches, but this would more likely be on both sides or all over. Do you lay on your left side all the time like when you're watching TV or when you sleep? Do you exercise? If so it could be related to an exercise induce injury or reaction, like if you tend to lean on one side more or lefted heavier weights on one side more. How long has this been going on?
Avatar n tn vagina pain which has helped some with that pain but since i have been on enablex for nearly two weeks I still have some problems trying to void.
Avatar n tn The pain is much like a urinary tract infection (a BAD one), but there are other complications and it flares and then often goes in remission. Elmiron is the only FDA approved drug to treat IC. It rebuilds the mucus layer of the bladder. I also take Enablex for frequency that is pronounced at night! If you think this sounds like you, ask to see a urologist...there are treatments that will make it better...
Avatar m tn I stay away from most carbonated beverages, though I have a sugar free one I treat myself to one a day.I limit my sugar intake, look on the box before you buy something. If it's withing the first 5, i wouldn't touch it. I hope this helps, I would also ask your doctor first before you decide to take anything else.
Avatar f tn Perhaps, you have a persistent/resistant type of bacteria and need to treat it for a long time with a combination of antibiotics, or with stronger antibiotics that you've already had. Aside from the scope, did you ever have any other tests, like an ultrasound (kidneys, ureters etc.) to check if there are any anatomical defects or kidney stones that could be causing the frequent UTI's? You mentioned you suffer from candida albicans. That's a yeast infection. Are you treating it?
Avatar n tn I have had several episodes of not being able to make it to the bathroom and have also wet the bed several times. My doctor gave me Enablex and the episodes stopped. I stopped taking Enablex and the bedwetting and not making it to the bathroom happened again. The doctor started me on Vesicore and again the episodes stopped. Have you ever heard of this happening after TUMT? I had the TUMT so that I could stop taking Flomax.
