This is my next try to help with burning and bladder and urethral spasms which are painful and sometimes cause urinary loss. After this next try is the Botox.
I was just wondering if anyone on this forum has had experience with this drug and if it helped them. I know we are all different and our reactions are different, I am just hoping it works without too many side affects.
On celexa, tried oxybutinin and myrbetriq. Gave me anxiety. Is enablex a good choice? Side effect of celexa was frequent urination. Eneblex only one that didn't cause anxiety, but side effects are bad. Anybody?
I'm not sure how to describe what I'm feeling or even if it's real or imagined from nervousness. My left side only...leg from about knee down, not feet and my left lower arm/hand feels "weird"...mostly at night when I get in bed and lay to watch t.v. I think my left hand feels weird when I'm typing, not fingers. I have no "pain" , numbness, tingling...just a weird, mild feeling. Sometimes a small shakiness.
this when I had my post op Appt I never truely got an answer then I went back to her she gave me some Enablex that never truely help with the no sensation to urinate nor the having feeling when having sex can some one tell me what is going on?
Thanks for your response. What would you consider my options for this problem? How could I find out for sure what is causing this. Night before last, I woke up and I had started urinating and was able to stop and make it to the bathroom. This is one of the worst things that has ever happened to me. I don't want to end up wearing diapers.

he has done urodynamics and also looked into my bladder through scope and said that nothing is wrong with my bladder and urthera,he first gave me vesicare for a month than enablex but condition still remains the same ,then i went to another general phyisican he sent me for x-ray of my lower back,results came out negative.my urlogist told me to go to neurolgist...
m not sure if she used a new condom(I was drunk).The place were this happened (a small alley) is known for not that being to careful about hygene.Also for financial reasons they often use condoms(for blowjobs) more then once.
Well,I'm just scared that the condom she put on me was already used and the chance for me contracting hiv if this was previously used by an hiv positive man.I never came but had plenty of precum if that might help for information).
Acai berry is really no use, if you want an anti-oxidant, go for blueberry just, it's cheap and does the same thing. There is no proven double blind studies showing any use as a therapy.
The uroligist put me on Enablex which has been working, and I am due to go back in two weeks......yesterday, I started feeling almost swelled up at the opening of the bladder.....I am embaressed to ask, is it possible that my bladder is dropping....it just doesn't feel right, and I don't know if I should just wait for the appointment at the uroligist, or call the gynecoligist?
Also, while trying to urinate at night, it takes a few minutes for the urine to come out.....This has been going on for 18 months now. I had similar issues about 4 years ago, saw a urologist and had tests done, including a cystoscipy (sorry on the spelling). All the tests came back showing no problems. It went away for a year or two, and then the problem came back. Only now it is worse....In the morning, when I wake up.....The discomfort is so bad that I cant stay in bed.
She put me on antibiotics and gave me enablex and detrol (neither which have worked). I went back in for a recheck and the repeat urinalysis was exactly the same as before. Doctor sent the sample out to a lab to see if it was bacterial related and I was told that I did not have an infection. She set me up with a ultrasound of the right kidney and it came back normal. OKay so now (as in the past) I have had intermittent right flank pain.
(about three years ago) I was ok for awhile and, now the severe pain has returned....which meant I had to return to my urologist....He gave me elmiron and vesicare to treat the IC....the Elmiron never helped my pain and, the Vesicare took my blood pressure from 113/72 pulse 68 to 153/103 pulse 122...I contacted my urologist and, he stated...that's not true ... neither of these meds would cause your blood pressure to go up...well, I called him back four days later...
I have fibroids in my uterus, I just had a biopsy on my cervix 2 weeks ago due to abnormal cells (it was OK) and I have a complex cyst on my ovary. I have had a crampy pain on that side for 4 months. I am prone to ovarian cysts as they come and go for me though not always complex like the one I currently have. 2 years ago I had 1 ovary removed because it got twisted and looked like a mass but when they got in there it was just twisted.
Definitely get your bladder checked for a urinary track infection. I doubt that's the case. What you are describing is exactly how I felt. Peeing once if not more an hour. Pee, stand up, feel like I have more. Incredible urgency to pee. You give in to go and your lucky to pee half a teaspoon, but it felt like you are holding back niagra falls. I have an overactive bladder. You need to cut down all your coffee, pop, tea, alcohol, and spicy food. Drink plenty of water. I know I know.

I'm a 20 yr old college student and as of a year, I have been experiencing frequent bladder problems. When I use the restroom, I never feel as though my bladder is empty. I constantly feel the urge to urinate even though I've spent about 5 minutes on the toilet trying to empty out my bladder (sometimes, it can take 20min). When I first get the urge to urinate, the flow is fine. However, a pinch starts to come out then it stops, then another pinch, then another stop and so forth.
i did see a urologist who suggested a scope. i had the scope done. i was put on anti-biotics for 2-3 months but the infections still take place approximately every 2/3 weeks. the urologist also said i have a high-pressure bladder and put me on enablex. unfortunately i still get infections. my urine gets a musty, strong smell and a cloudy color to it -thats when i know an infection is coming. the urologist says i might have a burning bladder. what is that?
I saw the first doctor and he gave me antibiotics. My urine test showed negative for UTI, but he figured he would be safe. After that failed, I went to my second urologist. He listed to my symptoms and started prescribing medications. He did a voiding ultrasound, but it seemed to show nothing. We tried Cipro, Detrol, and Enablex. All seemed to help a little, but nothing really fixed the problem. Each medication was taken for a couple months to see if they worked.
We engaged in sex on average 2-3/weekly for the 8 weeks. Condoms were used every time but lambskin condoms were used 3 times. She performed oral many times and never with protection. There were times my penis touched her vagina unprotected during foreplay (and her anus on one occasion).
Dysuria, frequent urge to urinate and soreness in my urethra began sometime in mid-November. Symptoms were moderate, annoying but not severe. First doctor visit was Dec. 5.
