sleep

Avatar f tn s the worst thing I ever did to my body. PLEASE HELP! I want to wash the progesterone out of my body. And the worst thing I did was that I used the progesterone oil on areas of my body with fat like my breasts and I'm afraid it will stay there forever.
Avatar f tn t be the cause of your tiredness. Naps are healthy as well, but you generally do not get REM sleep (the deepest levels) during naps, which is an important part of sleeping. This only leaves you with 5 or 6 hours at night to get adequate rest. I know what it is like to get jipped out on your REM and I dealt with that for too long. You feel sluggish, unmotivated, tired and lazy. What helped me and what I suggest for you is this: Exercise. Your doc is right.
Avatar f tn I've been feeling like I'm getting to much sleep too I don't get to sleep 12 hrs bc I have an almost 2 yr old but I feel like i could very easily. This is my fourth baby and I've always felt so tired with each pregnancy but this time is the worst! I have an appt. Tuesday and I'm going to have the doc see if my iron levels are low or what else could be causing my extreme tiredness. I'm tired of being tired lol.
Avatar f tn I'm 12weeks pregnant and all I wanna do is sleep, is that bad?..my bf says I'm sleeping to much but I just feel so tired..
Avatar f tn I have a hard time falling and staying asleep. I wake up at least 5-8 times a night so I don't ever get a deep sleep. I'm wondering if it's bad to take a nap throughout the day? I don't start my new job until next week and I want to rest while I can but I also don't want to get used to the rest.
Avatar m tn There are no negative side effects to self-pleasuring, such as hormonal imbalances or effects on fertility. Regardless of how many ejaculations you have, your body will produce sperm until the day you die. However, if and when you DO decide to become a parent, if you want to maximize your chances, you might want to hold off on orgasms for a day prior. I'm wondereing about your response with a partner. Do you come very quickly, before you'd like?
Avatar f tn Oh yeah, chemo has something to do with it. There is a study going on right now at UCLA about chemobrain and it's been listed on the Hopkins website as well. Your route with cancer has similarities with mine. Two port surgeries, mastectomy, chemo, radiation, mastectomy and DIEP perforator flap reconstruction. I went back to work 6/15/09 and seriously had issues remembering what I do and having to teach it at the same time. You learn coping strategies, thank goodness.
Avatar n tn IDK the answer and it does scare me, the thought of being in pain and on this stuff to feel normal the rest of my life.
Avatar n tn long story short i really liked the high and started taking it 3 times a week and now i take it daily, and on any given day ill take up to as much as 150mg to just 70 or 80. i believe my body is on the verge of a continuous overdose but at the same time i have some withdraw symptoms. Now i guess youre wonderin my height and weight and food intake, well im 19 yrsold female 93lbs. 5'3 . however my low weight is due to my genes.
Avatar f tn When you had Ambien to the mix of medications you are taking which has common side effects of sleepiness or unusual drowsiness - even after the initial effects - it's no wonder you are experiencing some "sluggish" feelings. Obviously it's a good idea to have some labs done, checking all systems including liver function, iron levels, etc - and a general work-up or physical to rule out all possibilities of any disease conditions.
Avatar n tn That is very normal in the first trimester. I would sleep 12 hours and still feel tired. When your body gets used to the hormones you won't be feeling so tired. Second trimester is the BEST. You'll have energy and feel great.
405820 tn?1205272948 And accept the fact that if your hormones are telling your body to put on some extra pounds, then no amount of dieting or exercise can change that. Don't mistake hips and breasts for random evil fat. Otherwise just keep an eye on what you're putting into your body. Cut back on processed sugars.
Avatar n tn These are not likely synthroid side effects, but too much thyroid can cause GI symptoms and less likely ear/jaw pain -- doubt the goiter would have suddenly regrown to cause pain. Would recheck labs in 4 weeks or if symptoms worsen in meantime ask your doctor about the synthroid dosing. Long term use of meds like nexium may increase thyroid requirements, so the higher dose may work out well in that regard.
Avatar m tn i sleep for very long hours....why is that so???? and when i sleep i am not aware of my enviornment....i sleep like a person who has fainted.......what could be the reason???

701334 tn?1262853503 i recently just stopped again,as for some time now i have been having a weard pain in the center of my body just below the ribline, that extends into my back,,,,i had lots of tests, but nothing showed up with my gullbladder or pancreas,,then i met back up with an old friend of mine,,well,he went from about 200 lbs solid to 135 pounds skin and bones!!! i asked him what the hell was wrong with him,and he told me he developed chronic pancreatitis from the drinking we use to do.
959691 tn?1259410214 Sorry your night was bad. I hate it when I don't sleep good. Let's see, if you're shaking and vibrating, this can be caused by something as simple as inadequate nutrients and or dehydration, so if you'll drink extra water daily and get a comprehensive multivitamin and mineral supplement and take it a couple times a week, that would help those situations.
Avatar f tn On day 3 I was in excruciating pain with huge hard lumps on the sides of my face that hurt so I went back to the dentist and he prescribed me x2 150mg of Clindamycin every 6 hours. I weigh around 150 lbs, 22 year old female, 5'3. I feel like I might have too much medicine in my system as I am feeling very weak and nauseous, almost like my blood pressure is low and I kind of have the jitters. I am taking everything as prescribed and even take half a vicodin instead of a full one.
Avatar f tn I don't think there is a such thing as too much sleep in your first trimester lol. A little bit of exercise every day though does help bring your energy level up a bit. I like yoga bc its really calm and relaxing but you still feel energized after.
Avatar m tn It seems that I have difficulty concentrating, focusing, thinking when I get too much sleep. For me too much sleep seems to be more than 6 hours sleep. However, if I don't get 7 or 8 hours of sleep then I am tired. If I get 8 hours of sleep then I am not tired, but then I have brain fog, like I'm half awake. I saw a sleep doctor and he didn't think that I had a sleep related problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn m 36 w also and I get a lot of bh and most of them come with pressure in my pelvic area. And I get the sharp pains in my cervix from his head pressing down. I was check today and no dilation and cervix is still high. Time ur contractions to see if their regular. If they are not then more than likely there just braxton hicks. Mine have been getting pretty intense. Which I'm happy for. Means my body is getting ready for labor.
Avatar f tn I know someone said that the pill book says up to 20 for the klonopin,BUT 12 mgs a day is really excessive. Why on earth did the new doctor just double it?I would think if it wasn't working for you he might have tried tapering you off and switching you to something else,at the very least he should have done a gradual increase and monitored you to see if there was any improvement, not just double it,thats crazy. How fast did you lose the 50 pounds?
Avatar n tn Thank you so much for the responses. I am in therapy now. I have always had worries about weight and I've been going through therapy for a while.
Avatar f tn s because of the blast of TSH I received from the synthroid. Does that sound right? If so, I assume I should taper up to the 175 dose? Does anyone know how long these symptoms will last? I feel miserable and am so mad at myself for my negligence! Any help is appreciated. My M.D. is out today, so thought I'd start here.
